I love watching these videos from another woman who's gone through law school and nearly done with law school. Being able to see the real life of an aspiring lawyer and what you go through and how much work is put into your studies. I hope to go to law school and my degree in law and these videos were so much fun to watch. You should post more advice videos and moving into your new apartment and wardrobe of a lawyer. And talk about the hiring process at your firm and how you negotiated your salary/ position

Congratulations.. on passing the NY Bar Exam... I plan to sit for the Alabama Bar Exam in Feb 2020...Strategically, studying for the Bar Exam full time seems to increase the probability of passing on the first try based on my research. Question: My plan is to take the bar with my computer, as oppose to writing my bar essays, do you have any advice for someone who is using their computer rather than writing??

Thank you! I dont see how anyone could possibly take the bar by hand in 2019 lol. Finishing the essays on time was always a challenge for me and I can type much faster than I can write. It is also easier for me to type out a quick essay outline than writing one. I don't have any specialized advice for using the computer beyond look out for typos and type away!

I used a PC. They have techs on site during the exam if you run into any issues. As far as I know, no one had any issues. I typed because I wanted to make reading my exam as easy & pleasing as possible to the grader. Remember that while there is a model answer, the graders are human & you could receive two different grades on the same easy by two different graders. Make their job easy.

At first, I wasn't getting my eyebrows done (like in the beginning of this video lmao) but after I took my practice test and did well I rewarded myself with getting my eyebrows done and going to the BLSA gala that night. In one of the clips, its the morning after the gala and I didn't wash my makeup off the night before, which is why it looks like I glowed up lol.

Thank you!! I didn't have a class schedule because my program allowed me to take the bar and then begin an externship after. I want to take two bars so taking one early was the only way to get that done.

Congratulations! I wish I had been like you and not let my workouts suffer during bar prep. Everytime I tried going to the gym, I wouldn't be able to focus on my workout because I was thinking about studying. I stopped working out completely until after the bar. Plus I ate a ton on Taco Bell because I was studying at 2am. I put on so much weight that the suit I wore at graduation in January could no longer fit after February.

I understand that. I didn't say it in the video, but sometimes at the gym, I would listen to Kaplan study podcasts or lecture videos. So even at the gym, I was still studying sometimes. I also started listening to them while I showered. It's hard to not think about studying while prepping.
