Keep at it, my dear. I enjoyed your first video on the system and applied it. It helped much during a period of studies for me. Love this video as well. Your efforts are not in vain. Keep on keeping on! God bless you.

This all makes sense to me! Thank you for posting this video. Lots of good ideas. I love organizing my life with 3x5 index cards. In fact, I’m obsessed! 😊

Yay! Someone else who read S.H.E.!! Loved ❤❤❤their books. I wonder if Pam is still with us. I know Peggy passed away quite a while back.😢 I make greeting cards so have plenty of cardstock. I think I would ruin paper too quickly.

Hello from Washington! Yay!! That's so awesome. Thank you for the nice comment ☺

very interesting! I read a little bit of the S.H.E. book because I learned of it from the Fly Lady, but I didn't conceptualize that it would be as useful as you've demonstrated. I'm so glad you made this movie!

I downloaded these and love them...because I'm going to start on January 1 / 24 - I decided to use the year space for my mood...I might rethink it, but I like the idea...

I’m excited to start this! How do you plan your homeschooling? I feel like you would have a good system for that😊
@timeandtideplans6 ай бұрын
Yay! This was the first year we aren't homeschooling since my son was in first grade! When I homeschooled I planned out units that followed the suggested topics for the grade level and would use Trello and/or my planner to compile the plans and resources. It was way too much. I wish I would have moved everything over to index cards much earlier - that would have helped on days they were sick, etc. and we didn't get to the plan. I would have shuffled the cards around and been good to go.

@@timeandtideplans thanks! I am new to the cards (I bought the get started set yesterday) but I’m wondering how it would look to put things into cards. Would you have a card per child per subject?

Where did you get your mesh pouch and what size is it?
@timeandtideplans Жыл бұрын
I use a black mesh case that wasn't intended for index cards, but it works! Its this one amzn.to/3uLWoED - I use the others to store my pencils, highlighters, and coloring supplies. I use either the A5 or A6 pouch.

Do you have a video talking about your favorite self help books?
@timeandtideplans Жыл бұрын
I don't - however, the books that inspire my actions still to this day, that I have cards for are from The Artist’s Way, Sink Reflections, The Miracle Morning, Zero Waste Home, and obviously Sidetracked Home Executives. A couple others that have shaped me are The War of Art, Master Key System, and the Bible. Do you have any favorites?

Can you make 4x6 size cards?
@timeandtideplans Жыл бұрын
Happily! I’ve had someone else request a larger size as well. I will work on that over the next couple of weeks and let you know when they are ready. Thanks for asking!

I'm curious what % of most peoples day is recurring tasks for cleaning and maintenance vs. project progress and one off tasks and activities.

Do you really need a card to remind you to make your bed? Not executive material.
@timeandtideplans Жыл бұрын
🤣 such a good point. Many of the cards are used more so as motivation. Moving a card for something that is little to no effort you have already done gets the snowball rolling for the day.

I am an adult with ADD so yep, I do need that card b/c it not only makes me focus on that task, but I am rewarded by moving it to the next day. This is a blessing. I am going to add my Faith & Bible study section!!! I created them but not printed yet. You are awesome!!!
