I enjoy the videos for sure. My little girl is starting to show interest in fishing and being on the boat so I have decisions to make. My Jon boat is just a little 12' narrow boat so I need to decide if I build it out or find me a 14' wide bottom boat to have more stability. Currently I don't feel super comfortable standing in the boat.

What's the budget for a build like this ? I have a similiar jon boat. Love the builds !
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats3 жыл бұрын
That's kind of a loaded question because he already had graph and trolling motor and boat. Plus now 2K in parts, materials, batteries. Plus labor.
@jacobwilliamson15693 жыл бұрын
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats thanks for the reply. That awnsered my question. I have a bare bones 1436 I was looking for rough idea on framing and decking. I realize any build can be what you want to spend and sky's the limit. Boat. Bring out another thousand lol. Looking forward to the build.
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats3 жыл бұрын
Haha, thanks man..And in the boat game $$$ is relative to the customer. Some guys 10K is just getting started other guys (like me) run a tight budget wheeling and dealing!

If you’re planning on building side panels, can you please go into detail. Almost nothing on KZbin for carpeted side panels.
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats3 жыл бұрын
I'll try if I can. Unfortunately can't make a video on everything on this boat, may hit some high points and a finished product walk thru. Filming everything slows the build work flow too much to do every step of process but I'll try to get some good content on it.

How much do you charge for one of these? I got the same exact boat and live 30 minutes from you in Monroe. Would love to talk shop and get an estimate.

Anthony, I have watched all of your videos, ( I think), and they are most informing of the things I need to know, except 1. Have you ever done a V bottom? That's what I have ,and I was wondering if you have any suggestion for planning and building one like mine?
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats2 жыл бұрын
I still haven't actually lol. I have a long wait list on builds, no V's coming. Id recommend checking out Fireant Boats, he has done a few really nice ones!

Yes this one will have 2 batteries in the back..Good place for the gas tank is in back by transom

What's the stability like when you after raising the center of gravity, to the rim of the boat?
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats2 жыл бұрын
Every boat is different. Stability depends on weight added, materials used, hull design, and the individuals actual measurement of what us stable and what is not. Some people don't have sea legs...

Where are you located and do you want another build?
@chrisroberts39633 жыл бұрын
Oh no, no rod locker? How much money is saved by doing plywood deck vs aluminum? I heard Nate Eckhold is a righteous dude!
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats3 жыл бұрын
Rod locker eats into cockpit and front hatches big time on a 36 hull. They are nice but I prefer them in 1448 minimum even then gets a bit tight for my liking. I could make it happen for sure but space gets sacrificed. Money saved could be thousands. Imagine 200 average an aluminum lid ×6 , 1200, plus 2 sheets of .080 at 195 each, almost 1600. Plus 30$ each for proper latches, another 180. Most do hydroturf or seadek on aluminum (because why would you carpet it?) add another 150$ x 6. Another 900$. I've already lost count, , you get the idea. Turns a 4K build into 6+ real quick!!! Nate is my cuzin
@chrisroberts39633 жыл бұрын
@@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats I can appreciate that. 36” is a little tight. Are you gonna do the float pods for stabilization?
@AnthonyJonesBrigadeBoats3 жыл бұрын
No I think the batteries low in back near/below water line will help it. My 1436 is super stable but the 1232 was a death trap. Just depends on the build man.
