Today I'm working on my personal Island, A new Modern Japanese city island which will feature more modern/realistic styled builds and perspectives many of my older blossom islands didnt get. Do I make blossom cities alot? Yes, yes i do, its always going to be my favorite theme to make, its my cottagecore lol, however im really trying to get alot of nice city layouts on this island to help alot of your requests out and finally make a blossom city I love all the way and doesn't feel rushed in some areas like my previous islands were. In this video I will also be discussing my tips and suggestions through my personal build process, I hope not only does my entry help inspire someone out there, but the tips in todays video help you out. I will be recording this island as much as possible for those who need to see every step in city building. See you next video with some more progress of this island!!!

I'm burnt out and a little depressed right now. I was extremely sick and was hospitalized for over 2 weeks and honestly I almost didn't make it. I've been trying to play and get excited to play and just can't get going. If u have any suggestions, I really would welcome them. Stay sweet.

id say delete the game and restart and take it slow, dont rush it, good things take time, it took me 2 weeks almost to start this new island, visit DAs for inspo , and try something new!!

I’ve been wanting to do a citycore place since ACNL, with my home actually being a hotel. I’m glad ACNH has way more customization but man it can take eons just to get your island ready for it. I’m hoping to finally stay motivated to get my island all decorated out, and I’m so glad these vids exist to not only gives me a starting point but to help stay motivated

Definitely agree!😌 Just start building with an idea in mind and see what happens. It usually looks much different from my original thought but I like it and am surprised what I was able to make.😋 My biggest issue is starting. I work myself up thinking it's going to suck. Then once I finally start, I can't stop.😅 Can't believe how fast you work though!😲

Thanks for the tips :) I thought it was nice to have a symmetrical res plaza but I’ve been bouncing back and forth a lot on whether to have the city parts I want near the entrance of my island vs further away. This helped 😇

Thank you so much for the walkthrough on building this! It took me a while to make the entrance and now I am at a spot where I don't need to watch this video and can make it my own way. I was thinking of building a staircase at the other side of the over pass and blocking the left side of city hall to so players are forced to use the overpass to get there. Your videos are always so helpful and really make me want to try out citycore! I'm still playing on the map I chose on March 20th, 2020 so the right corner of my plaza is LITERALLY 4 tiles back and 1 to the left of the airport. I wish I knew back then that it would be an issue, but this is my first AC game. I've been struggling with an entrance forever but I don't want to restart my game since I have basically every item catalogued and over 1500 hrs poured into this island , so hopefully you can help with an idea for this super tricky placement! ♡

I LOVE far airports. Whats your dimensions? Maybe we can do an entry/filler inspo video. Also whats your theme? And im hoping to do more "record as i play"videos like this for many diff themes. It catches things i dont realize i do when i build so im hoping it helps along with general tips per video! I of course LOVE to change layouts alot but im really happy with this entry today. D: I got REALLY inspired by your tropical citycore, so I'm currently tearing down my elegant citycore island while I watch your videos haha. My current island entry took me MONTHS to be satisfied with, even then I hated the "filler" areas I created. I would cry tears of happiness if you can do a filler inspo video for us with too much space lol! The entry in this video is amazing~ I love me some diagonal roads

I've been enjoying ur content on the Japanese styles since I was just starting my island I lost my last island(switch broke lost save file) And was debating whether I want a Kyoto style or a modern Tokyo Japanese island Although my plaza is right in front of my island I try to be creative myself to see what can I do fit around it. Am still struggling with how the road placement I wish they add a button to just naturally switch the design But am doing my best!

LOVE your videos!!! So my resident services is pretty close to the entrance unfortunately and I don’t really want to restart everything…Would LOVE ideas!….So, as you enter from the airport and stand on the right side square I have 12 free squares till it hits my resident services…. ( and then it extends 4 spaces to the left and 7 spaces to the right ) So the building is close and slightly to the right of the airport.

Also, I think my problem is not only that it’s close to my entrance,( although there are definitely people who I think have theirs placed closer ) but it’s that it is directly in front of my entrance and not off to the side more.
