What an inspiring video. I love how many angles you're looking at. Your offTube videography will build your network AND skills. Your MBA will give you an edge with creative business AND give you a chance at something else if everything falls apart. And I LOVE the idea of a greater documentary. No matter what topic you choose, I think I'd be fascinated. Here's hoping for the best for all of your ventures! Since you asked about our goals as well, one of mine is to get my YA fantasy novels published- in the very long run I would love to see them animated in a 2D style that hearkens back to both the Disney Renaissance and realistic anime. They're stories that mean a great deal to me, and right now I'm kind of stuck on the editing but I'm writing fanfic to keep my writing chops fresh and give myself some more exercise that way. I've also been trying to build my own audience for my writing and my digital art, and survive with my disabilities when I CANNOT do a physical job but also have no qualifications for something that requires a degree.

First of all, Happy New Year, Issac. Secondly, I wanted to tell you about a story I'm making with a Filipina friend of mine who is actually in the Philippines. It's about a character named Anita Imahin and how she achieved her dream of working on a movie at the Disney studio. But in order to make a film, one that she figured that maybe Walt Disney would like, and build on hee future, she had to look to the past. Course, she literally visits the past to see key moments in Disney history. But rather than just let it be a simple story of a girl and young intern at the Disney studio going through history, she's actually learning a bit more about herself and how that she, like the rest of us, should, as the famous professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes once said, get a dream, hold on to it and shoot for the sky.

I think it's amazing you want to be a filmmaker. I've been a lot more over the place over the years than it might seem! When I was growing up, I actually wanted to be a teacher, but by the time I was leaving high school I thought I was going to be a scientist or an engineer. The first major I declared in college was actually in software engineering before I switched to math. But when I graduated, I decided to continue to be a KZbinr! It has not been the most straightforward path.

Oh man, I know what it's like to punish yourself for not being successful or not having enough money or just in general. Sometimes, we can be our own worst enemies. And mental illness can just tack onto that. I just wanna say your not alone and I'm super happy to see that you're still going and working on what you love. It's so easy to get discouraged. And I'm still trying and I'm rooting for you too~ I'm trying to get back into posting art content but I've just been saving recordings to upload when I'm ready. So just backloging mostly. But depression makes it hard to want to be creative. So it's always a constant battle.

I’m studying to achieve a bachelor’s degree and I’m just two semesters away from graduating. I’m hoping to create my own tv show or movies as I want to become a writer. And I had been thinking of the same thing, I want to write books for that education and for kids, because I had been through a lot of troubles throughout my life with my emotions and my family, and I was blinded and paranoid about entertainment and shows. But soon as a got some time to myself and time away from the screens, I learned I had nothing to fear about. That’s why I want to work on making shows for all kids to enjoy, especially autistic kids like me. But I had been trouble on trying to make it work cause I don’t fully understand the process of writing books like that and don’t really know how to. But I’m not going to give up until I accomplish my goal. I still going to work on my video career, and I hope you’ll still work on yours. 🎉❤

Follow your dreams, but avoid burn out. It’s important to pay rent, and put food on the table, but if your professional job is too much, your personal projects may suffer. In other words, if you spend 40 hours a week or more making corporate videos, you may not want to spend your time off making even more videos. Also, a business degree is boring. It may make you successful, but the chance of it helping you in the film arts is slim. Maybe as a freelance videographer, but really, only to be slightly more successful than other freelance videographers.
