Ok so this was SO good! I listened to the whole thing!! And will probably again lol. I'm a small skincare company owner, I'm not at the stage to be doing such a thing yet but hearing you talk about this just opened so many doors of possibility I'm only starting to make sense of as things grow! Thank you for taking the time to make this!!

This is fantastic, I absolutely love the transparency for the sort of stuff that has always been so abstract and elusive to most.

Hi Grace, I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video. You might have thought it sounded boring but I found it so incredibly helpful and interesting. I'm not at the Series A level yet but even so, there were so many useful aspects of the video that can be applied to other areas of business / other applications. Really grateful to you for sharing your time and wisdom, and definitely need to go and watch your other ones now!

I am not a founder, but I am in sales and this was a fantastic summary of how to sell (in a slightly different way). I love the "tongue in cheek" way of doing so - as you say, in true TALA fashion - definitely something I find can be successful in my industry, too! (Nutraceuticals - you have to have a sense of humor or it can get so in-the-weeds technical LOL) Thank you for sharing, and CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Just discovered your channel and podcasts and i love everything you put out there! Thank you for sharing, yes this may be the less flashy and engaging audiences stuff but for us, the people with no business building experience it’s priceless! I’m an architect, would love to go into development and building / renovating homes which are sustainable, beautiful, affordable and suitable for everyone - from families to older people. I’m foreign, obviously, but the thing i notice in the UK is most development in big cities is aimed at young professionals, i also rarely see older people living in city centres. Don’t know how I’m going to do it yet but I’m doing research and thinking!

I have a question and I’m sure people who educate themselves on corporate finance wonder the same thing: how can you be an investor for other companies and raise funds at the same time for your own company. Is it like in personal finance where we are being asked to not invest in our business only but also in the stock market at the same time because it’s hard to build a company that lasts 50 years?
