How I Rate Knives (BRK Bushcrafter 2 Review) - 나이프 평점 기준 (부시크래프터2 리뷰) [한글자막]

The purpose of this video is to show in-depth how I rate my knives.
In this video I mainly complain about the recent sheath for the Bushcrafter 2 by Bark River Knives with a short *comparison testing with the Belt Knife by Winkler Knives.
*(keep in mind that the Belt Knife is intended for tactical use rather than for bushcrafting, so it is not a directly comparable knife, technically speaking)
My rating for this knife is: 8.9

Thick edge geometry is for soldiers if they have needs to cut brass or steel. Average users would need to sharpen it down to fit their needs, and 80crv2's finer microstructure can support it to very low edge geometry. This is where 80crV2 shines, and you don't need special sharpening tools in the fields to sharpen it. Winkler knifes are the very few knife company do legit good tapered tang in this price range. Tapered tang knives are almost always have the best feel and balance in full tang knives. This and some other traits separate high quality custom from high quality production knives IMO.

Much thicker geometry than other BR knives such as aurora, even more thicker than bravo series.

Yeah its different than bark rivers for sure… feels like a fallkniven with a thicker butt, but somehow it still feels like a TRC overall.

I found my winkler cut exponentially better when I put the edge down to 15 DPS, the steel and blade stock are more than tough enough to handle it, seriously it turned my winkler from “meh” performance to being my “take everywhere” knife
