Hi Nija! Thank you so much 🙏🩵I don’t have a video sharing what I will be doing with the 20k , however in my videos I have discussed what has to be paid. Back in April we owed the IRS. I took that money out of our savings, so I will be paying ourselves back. I will also be paying off my IKEA credit card, maxing out my IRA retirement fund. Those are the top 3 so far. We have funds automatically deducted from our paychecks into our high yield savings account also. I just wished I would I’ve started this earlier in life😂😂

@@crystalk6164 Hi Crystal! I do a weekly paycheck budget . Once all our bills are paid I then figure out how much to save for my challenges. I go to the bank on Fridays and give the teller a cash breakdown, so I can have different cash dominations. I get paid bi-weekly and my husband gets paid weekly. You can start as little as $5.00 a week. I just wished I would have started budgeting earlier in my 20’s. Once you start saving it becomes a habit and you will be looking forward to saving every time you get paid 🩵 Thank you so much for stopping by my channel 🩵🩵

Or imagine how much more you could have saved if whatever was left over in variable funds (sinking funds... e.g., groceries, water bill, light bill etc and what you put in the challenge envelops), you simply transferred it into a high yield savings account so you could earn interest in your envelops. In six months with the amount you listed + interest capitalization... anywhere from 10 - 35 dollars. Just use play money in the envelops... that is what I do to track and keep myself accountable.

Hi Kesha! I started saving January 1st of this year. I used all that savings challenges in the video. I did a monthly budget and after all of our bill were paid, that was the money I used to save.
