I loved this, Kirby! This past spring, I started a Christian TikTok and God has used it so much. I've been able to preach the Gospel, lead people to Jesus, help people doubting their faith, teach theology....it's an amazing this God has done in my little corner of the internet! Do you ever just let the Holy Spirit take over and just speak? In the word He says open your mouth and I will fill it. I have always felt those sermons are the most powerful!! Really trusting Him to give the audience what they need!!

This is so helpful! Getting sermon prep information from a women is totally crazy. The Bible is crystal clear that women are not allowed to preach sermons or be pastors. 1 Corinthians 14:34 “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.” 1 Timothy 2:12 “But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”

@@mercydolo since it’s summer I have nothing to do so if I fast it’s just me and God the hold day it’s kinda overwhelming for me to be honest like idk what to do just pray and read. How much do I read? Do I just pray throughout the whole day ?

Just start by doing a half day. Maybe till 2pm. Later on you can increase the time to 6pm than when you're ready a whole day or more. You can also Daniel Fast with fruits/veggies and water without the time restriction. GOD is just looking for a sacrifice to put the fire on. You can pick the same time/times to pray everyday because that's another sacrfice. Just start out by picking an hour, maybe even up to 3hour time periods of you have the time. Fill the prayer time with praise, worship, prayer, bible reading. Be still at the end and ask HIM to speak to you. If you decided to do the 3 hours just space it out during the day like 6am 2pm 9pm. However many vote you pick is ok just make sure it's the same time everyday and HE will meet you. This is the secret place we read about in the Bible. It's a heavenly transfer but if you stick to this the rest of your life GOD will transform you and you'll began to walk in power. It won't happen overnight it's a long process.

Typically I speak at women’s and youth events!! :) I love to speak at churches, retreats, conferences, schools, and gatherings/events whenever I can

This is an important question. Because I would hope that she is not preaching or teaching in the church, or exercising spiritual authority over a man. Kirby, maybe you could do another video where you talk about 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, 1 Timothy 2:12-15, and Titus 2:3-5? While women can herald and evangelize on the streets, and teach other women, they are not to teach men in that manner, and especially not to preach in the church. Thus, women should not be writing sermons. For that reason I would suggest that something like "how to teach the Bible to other women" would be a better caption than "how to write a sermon." I want to clarify as well, I don't say this to be harsh. I think you compiled a good reading list! And I am confident that many, if not all, of the commentaries and study bibles that you listed would agree with what I am saying in regards to women preaching. So I'm not actually sure what your position is, but the way this video was titled set off a red flag for me.

@@benjamincolson is the Great Commission not for all believers though? To go and make DISCIPLES (which means they have to teach). And I guess Priscilla was doing the wrong thing by preaching to Apollos since he was a man. She did 2 podcast epsiodes on 1Timothy 2:12-15. I get that you have a view on this but why does she have to clarify its "other women"? I don't see what's wrong with the title. Her advice is sound for men to take as well. How would it be her fault if a man watches her videos which in your view is a no-no? Does she have to walk on eggshells because she's made in the image of God differently than you are as a man? I don't see a Scripture prohibiting women from sermon writing or 1st century equivalent. It'd just be better to speak with more grace especially on sensitive issues likes this. You don't get how it feels to hear things like that as a woman. Agree or disagree.

Hey friend!! Do you have trouble in believing it as a historical fact, or trouble receiving the grace and gift of forgiveness from God? If it’s the first, be affirmed in that there were not only hundreds of eye witness both of his death, burial, and resurrection, but there were even non believers who recorded his death and resurrection! If it’s the second, we need to understand that it is not by our merit or our own doing that we are worthy of His grace. In fact, it’s because we are undeserving that is is grace!! When we realize that, I think it humbles us in reviving what only a perfect savior could do in redeeming us from our sins :) does that help?

@@kirbyisaboss it’s the second one. I struggle with self righteous and thinking that I don’t sin. I know it’s bad and I hate it I don’t want to think I’m a good person when in the bible it says that no one is good. I try and quote the scripture “no one is righteous no even one” in my brain but it doesn’t work I think I was trying to fix the problem instead of letting God take over and work. So I stopped i started thinking that Jesus’ blood is stronger than my sin but I still at times feel no feelings attached and it scares me. Do I really believe this. Ik we shouldn’t be lead by our feelings but how do I know if I truely believe it in my heart?
