I would love to see a post tattoo set up tear down also. How you clean your station and all that. I am curious how the disposable grip prevents ingress vs the non disposable one that was wrapped. What is the cost differential of a disposable grip vs wrapping or why you would choose one method over the other.

The grip is for cool kids that can shell out money all the time. Wrap is for a cheaper more efficient option. It is personal preference. If you don't mind spending $5+ for a disposable grip than it should be fine after you look at the whole overall pricing of your work and you squeeze that $5+ cost in their each time you have to use a grip. Or you could spend that $5 and get a couple rolls of wrap. If you are like the guy in the video the roll of wrap he says gets him two grips wrapped per roll. I personally feel you could get 4-5 wraps each roll if you didn't make it fat like he did. So you could do five tattoos for $5 compared to 1 tattoo for $5. That's up to you. I know back in the day a lot of artists switched from steel tubes to disposable because the steel tubes costed more and cleaning them all the time costs even more plus the time you have to spend soaking and sterilizing them so disposable tubes don't work as good and durable as stainless steel, but they are cheaper and hassle free as far as time and money go.

Full set up: - Wash your hands according to CDC guidelines, and gloves up - spray down your station with liquid (water or green soap) so the cling wrap will stick - tape down a dental bib (no liquids can leak through), medical tape from painful pleasures - bag up your green soap or distilled water - wrap machines in barrier film and machine bags, optional add sensi wrap for extra grip - set out your needles - set ink caps + tongue depressor - open tongue depressor but try not to touch the tongue depressor itself to avoid cross contamination - get out some hustle butter with your tongue depressor, use some hustle butter to help keep ink caps in place - set out disposable razor and pen - pour out ink into caps, he’s using dynamic black ink 😊

Okay you probably don't look at your comments but how do you like tattoo someone with scars without like ripping them open again. I just want to be really careful

I appreciate that you are willing to help others but I think you need to clean your machines and think of a better way to wrap them. If you pause the video at 1:48 and look into your tattoo barrel it is dirty as hell with ink that got in there. And why did you wrap one grip for one tattoo machine but not the other? Make it make sense... I'm not saying this to bash you I am pointing out flaws in your technique. If you bag one machine fully you should do the same with the other one. And the reason you have ink stains in your barrel is because you only clean the outside visual part, but not the inside where you are allowing ink, blood, and ointment all to slip into your machine by not properly bagging the grip. It is a whole industry flaw I see with the pens. Nobody wraps them properly they just take the time to wrap the battery yet leave the grip that you are touching and holding the most unwrapped. I don't get it! I see this daily on Instagram, KZbin, Tik Tok, everybody showing "how to wrap your machine" and then they just cover the battery 😂😂😂 I know you probably won't like my comment but take it to the heart bro because as a tattoo artist myself it makes me sad to see people in the industry not being clean totally. You should always be clean and sterile for your clients but what nobody talks about is how about just doing it for yourself!? I say this because not properly cleaning your machine is a shortcut but the only person it hurts is you! What if you accidentally poke yourself while tattooing a client and on top of their DNA mixing with yours you also have all your other clients DNA entering your body because you only clean the outside of the grip! Do yourself a favor and clean the inside of your machine. It is not easy obviously because nobody these days cares to do it, but just spray some cleaner on your paper towel and rub inside your grip you will see what I am talking about... You have to break your machine down as much as you can after EVERY tattoo! Not just wipe the outside so customers visually see it shiny because the outside don't matter if you don't care to spend time on the inside.

I use the sanatizer alcohol hand soap then glove up and then use green soap to clean my station and then i do similar for the rest of the process that you use
