great one. that pro mist filter did a really good job with the highlights..want to see more of these behind the scene thought process for a video in future .. I have one question, I see you using final cut pro for editing a7siii footage all the time. can it take a7siii 4k 120p 10bit 422 at full res or do you make proxies to edit?? do you use the new 13" m1 ??
@MABO3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! There will be more BTS coming soon :) I have an older 2018 Mac Book and have to create Proxys in FCP everytime but will defenately upgrade when the new M1X Mac Books are coming out. Cheers!

Shooting with one lens is simple really : you bring only one and then you can't change it. Voilà.
@mj.cutsense3 жыл бұрын
Overall it looks good but I see two things that make it kinda amateur. First is the white balance that varies between shots. That also applies to your youtube video where two cameras did not match at all. The second is the shutter speed, it looks like you've shot everything in 120p and use it at normal speed and it caused that digital look which is not consistent with that retro vibe. Don't get me wrong I really like your work but it could be better. Still, thumb up for future videos!
@MABO3 жыл бұрын
Hey man, thanks for your feedback that helps :) Since we shot at different times of the day, light was different. I tried to match these shots but the late evening shots are just blue because of blue hour. How would you handle white balancing when having shots following up from different time of day? Most shots are filmed in 60p and I did not use 24p to have more flexibility while editing yes. I feel the cinematic vibe of 24p but if I need a shot in Slow Motion afterwards I'll have a problem :D
@mj.cutsense3 жыл бұрын
@@MABO Yes, I know it could be tricky. I've done it wrong many times before. The key is balancing the skin tones. With that late shots, they are just white, and the rest is blue, which is a good determinant. With a planned shot, it's good to have a second shot at normal speed with that 180-degree shutter speed. This will give you a great and cinematic feel of motion. Anyway, the colors are really pleasing, the music is great and the framing is also very interesting so keep it up! I'm leaving my feedback to let you be even better!

Okay, true man. I will try that the next time for sure, really appreciated 👌😊
