based on my experience, you won’t need any transit visa - after landing in Korea, you’ll just be having to undergo security check and you can either go straight to your gate or look for the transit lounge (free) afterwards.

We availed travel and health insurance via Pioneer, however when we went through the immigration process, the officer didn’t ask for any papers regarding it po 😊

hello! If your destination is US, you’ll no longer need to go thru any covid test. Regarding the free transit tours - it is presently unavailable and will only resume operations on 2023.

hello, we stayed at terminal 2. there are two transfer lounges designated at both ends of the terminal (you can easily find one once you take the escalator after security check); the lounges are open 24/7 :)

Based on the internet, there is a transit hotel located in terminal 1. The airport staffs in Incheon are very kind, you can ask them exactly where it is. In our case, we didn’t have to go thru any covid test throughout our whole trip - as we are all fully vaccinated.

As long as your final destination isn’t requiring any form or proof of negative covid test, I don’t think Korea will ask for any. The only restriction I’m aware of is that transit passengers are prohibited to go out of the airport. Even so, take this with a grain of salt and contact your chosen airline (if possible) in order to be sure with your inquiries :)

Hello! As far as I can gather, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have eliminated the need that tourists test negative for Covid-19 before entering the country, provided that they are fully vaccinated and have received at least one booster dose- hence, transit travelers connecting from Korea to Hawaii will no longer need to provide documentation of any kind of COVID test. Furthermore, the K-ETA application won't be necessary for transit passengers 🥰

@@ezraellatrozado8925 Thank you so much for getting back to me. Actually for the most part, it was a smooth flight to Hawai’i. Since I didn’t leave the Incheon airport and the US doesn’t require fully vaccinated travelers to do a PCR test when arriving. My layover in Korean was pretty good! When arriving in Hawai’i, all I had to do was the normal checking of passport and then I was clear to carry on with my day. Once again, thank you for getting back to me. God Bless!

yes, Korean air pa rin po. Yung sa luggage po, naclaim na po namin sha sa mismong airport nung country of destination po namin - bale, yung airline na po yung nag transfer ng baggages namin. Pero depende po kasi sha sa makukuhang flight, better to ask nalang rin po sa mismong check-in counter para po maclarify ang concern😊

we didn’t undergo rt-pcr or any covid test na po. It wouldn't be essential if your final country of destination does not demand it. 😊
