Good example of how to show just how flexible cash stuffing is if ya INTENTIONAL about where you puttin yo money. Welcome to home ownership, it is ALWAYS something coming outta left field to get ya sideways. I have found that when dealing with contractors, if you have cash US dollars to had them, they generally will knock off a lil somthin somethin if you ask them. Negoatiate!

Do you just estimate your electric bill? It varies from month to month and I like to be exact with my numbers.
