My wife and I got travel to Fargo ND to get some X-Men comics signed by Chris Claremont on Free Comic Book Day. Then today he did a panel at the Fargo Air Museum for like 30 people. It was incredible.

Around 22:29 - 22:31, was trying to figure out what book that was in the cabinet. Look like the title was The Immortals, had two ladies on the cover. Can't find anything online yet to match it. I enjoy going to stores like this one you featured especially to see what they have in the locked cabinets. Some stuff I wonder if Half Price Books or any place in general charge properly for OOP titles. I see so much that I would get but tend to hold off. I bought more single issue comics and some graphic novels to add to my collection. Take advantage of those discounts when they come around. Red Sonja from Dynamite has been on my radar to collect. Started reading Chobits, Vol. 1. Now looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Thanks for sharing. Happy reading.

Those Morrison X-men digests are notorious for the glue failing in the binding, literally falling apart on the first read. I picked mine up in a close out chain for a couple of pounds each so no great loss but not a fun experience.

Man, like 2 years ago I bought that Kiss Kompendium here in Dublin, Ireland from a guy for freakin 13€ 🙂 Second hand but in really nice condition. That was a sweet deal and awesome 1280 pages monster of a book.

It's a day that comic shops put out "free comics " to entice new customers and regulars to come out to the shop. The comics are free for customers, but the store usually has to pay money.
