After several nights of me wrenching on this beast, I finally finished the rebuild. But before I put it in the van, I want to make sure the thing runs. Here's how I get this 7.3 IDI Diesel Engine running on my stand.
It took me a while to figure out a way to get this engine running, and most of the videos and tutorials on the net didn't get into the details on how to accomplish this. I figured some close up shots of the process would be informative.

Chugga Chugga Chugga Rattle Rattle Rattle Love the sound of these old idi’s. Just don’t feed em harsh dry Ether & you’ll be fine.

my short bus has 3 12 volt batteries do i really need 3 or two fine?

depends on your parallel cranking amps. If you have some generic car batteries from some compact car, maybe 3 wont' be enough. But if you have two diesel-engine rated batteries, then you should be fine with two.
