One of the business I own is a virtual assistant agency. I can tell you from personal experience one of the key to being successful is not just having the talent but catering to an specific niche and having a good marketing strategy.

@Linh Podetti I have been. She now has a connection through a law firm in Southern California. She is quite busy now although the pay has not caught up yet. I have been trying to market custom designed business cards on Ebay but no luck yet. People don't trust when they are dealing with someone overseas. That is a big obstacle.

@@connecticutcollectibles8164 Establishing trust or brand equity is a obstacle many businesses face when they are just starting out or haven't been in business for very long. My VA business subcontracts out to VAs in the Philippines so I understand exactly the obstacles you face. One suggesting I can give you that helped me in the beginning is by incorporating social proof into your marketing strategy. You can get it by simply asking some of her past clients for a short video testimonials or even a written review on her business social media page.
