I have a MacBook do you know what’s the best recording app or extension that I can use on my MacBook Air to record my nursing sessions and converts it to notes

I use notability on my iPad. I think you can get it for MacBooks as well. It’s free and it can also give you scripts to the audios you recorded and creates study guides for you, & practice quizzes too

I’m thinking of getting an iPad since I have an iPhone, but I’m not sure which one is best for nursing note-taking. Any recommendations? I’m starting clinicals this week and want something reliable for using Notability.
