I'm trying to get better at writing in my journal and also up the amount of time I study Korean. it's also helpful to watch Korean KZbinrs that do vids in Korean and listen to podcasts. I've noticed I can understand them more if I can see them so the podcasts help me work on improving my listening. thanks for the tips! 😁

I think that method of not watching dramas with subs is really useful, cause I live in a spanish speaking country (my mother tongue is portuguese) and I came without knowing any spanish, I was like 7 years old and I learned spanish by basically watching tv in full spanish (no subs) and I would go with my mom to her work and listen to the costumers speaking with her in spanish and also I went to a spanish speaking church and would read the bible in spanish so when i got into school one year later I could understand almost everything... my dad and mom also came without speaking spanish and that's how they learned the language, no language school... anyways you're a huge inspiration for me! xoxo

great video, keep up the good work! just a small suggestion, I feel like copying the whole pdf is not the best idea. they say that in order to truly know if you know something is to put it in your own words. so may I suggest reading the pdf through and then summarizing the information such as picking out the most important parts within it? this has helped me sooo much with my own Korean studies. I used to copy my resources word for word and I realized I wasn't really retaining much but once I started paraphrasing my Korean improved so much and within only months I got where I should've been 1 year ago. again this is just a suggestion feel free to ignore it if you please. I also suggest writing example sentences without the English translation so you are able to see the grammar being used in context. Korean is Korean and English is English there is really no point in trying to equate the two. this also really had my Korean improving at a high rate. good luck, sending love.

Soo helpful. I think I will try to write down the lyrics of my favorite songs. I usually just watch the lyrics videos that have the Korean, English and romanizations but writing will probably help me improve more!

Hey cherie x, I have some advice and u can choose to listen to it or not lol.So i was thinking that because ur in korean, u should speak only korean when out.Even if u are stuck, ik its hard and sometimes embarrassing but im sure people will help and speaking is the best way to pick the language up and u can learn a lot. Also because u are in korea people will understand and praise u for even trying. When u go back home, talking wont be as easy.Lots of love ❤

You should also check howtostudykorean.com out. I'd say it is similar to ttmik. It has a lot of vocab with sample sentences for each word.
