I have such fine baby hair. And I’m not kidding. It looks like a toddler’s hair. It is so wispy . So these are so helpful to me. And I really want to try one of those crimpers at the roots. I really enjoyed this Nisha and you look beautiful. Love, Melissa.

Your hair always looks so full and gorgeous, it doesn't look fine at all, especially when you wear it curly, maybe try to clip it few extensions and then curl them with your own hair and you will look like a lioness lol. Love ya xx
@teresahaven9222 Жыл бұрын
I can't afford a crimper right now. I've been looking at them for quite awhile but money is tight. I part my hair off like she did to crimp it and while my hair is wet I put a little setting jell on the roots and braid just the root area. Once it totally dries, it comes out crimped. I rarely use a hair dryer on my hair but occasionally flat iron or curling iron but I make sure to use a heat protectant

Hey Nisha. My daughter is a colourist and told me that you should not put conditioner on your hair prior to using K18 it takes the place of a conditioner and acts as a treatment as well. I was doing what you do and she told me off! 😅. Apparently it can’t penetrate the hair properly when it been conditioned. I read the directions and low and behold she’s right! Thankfully she can buy it and my Olaplex at the salon cost, which is a huge blessing because the higher end salon product are a frightful price. My hair is very similar to yours so I need my products to save the day - or at least my hair! xx

Hi Nisha - Fine coloured hair is definitely a challenge - I have the same type of hair. I really appreciate all your tips and tricks. Thanks so much for sharing!
@sufyb6432 Жыл бұрын
You look lovely! We fine haired gals really have to work it when it comes to hair. My hair takes just as much time as yours does when I wash it (maybe more). It is dark and layered, but still thin. It has to be blown dry with a round brush because the ends are frizzy if I don't. THEN I can either put some velcro rollers in, heat the hair, then cool it so that the curl sets, and style it, or use the flat iron to curl and crimp it. I use spray and play harder to set it after curling, then style it with spray and play as a final setting spray. I have to use a lot more spray than you do because backcombing damages my hair too much, and I would rather deal with the hairspray than combing out the rats 😂. After I'm done with styling, I use a product that I found in Maui, from Maui soap company. It is a light oil spray that adds shine and a lovely scent. I order five small bottles so I can get free shipping, but they last a long time. Then I'm finally finished, after I wipe off my counter and hair styling tools. Lots of fun, but I would rather put in all that work a couple of times a week than have flat hair!

This video helps so much ! I’m going to try it out, and I’m thinking I may invest in a Valoom. What I do for volume at the roots now is under spray and let it dry, but it doesn’t last, and my hair feels dirty faster. My sides are thin, but my back is thick, and need to get it thinned on my salon day. Thanks Nisha ! 💜

I’m so glad you’re having success minimizing the damage to your hair! I cringed when you took the wet brush to your hair - first because I never attempt to brush without first applying a detangling spray, and second because the Tangle Teaser brush is gentler than what I saw you use. I was surprised to see you using the K18 after a conditioner - which minimizes its efficacy, and also that you don’t use heat protection prior to crimping and straightening (my detangler does double duty for heat). I’ve had great results sleeping with my hair in a silk nightcap - works better than silk pillowcase alone - the damage and breakage has been reduced significantly by incorporating these steps. Continued good luck! ❤

I was taught 41 years ago that when u have finished styling ur hair, u blast it with the cold shot , it helps to keep the shape longer, and I still do it to this day! It’s so much hard work for u nisha, I’m lucky to have my root like urs with wow raising the root, as u say it’s like scaffolding 😂😂😂u just pass the straightener once on ur hair which is brilliant, I do it few times cos of my wavy /curly hair, can’t believe how smooth and straight ur hair is👌I take my hat off to for doing so many stages, u deserve a g&t after all that🍷🥂🍹thank u for another great video,take carexx😘

Good afternoon Nisha! You have golden hands, you can do everything. I don't like slick hair, so like you, I do my hair like a chicken and chickens. My hands get numb quickly, everyone has their own physiology, but I try to treat on time, and not to overdry, and wind curlers on wet hair, using sprays, wax for styling hair. My hair is thin and frizzy, it's thin but thick, I'm grateful to God for what I have, but, like a woman out of the house, I do my styling before going out. Your blond suits you and the hair dryer is very good. my granddaughter's parents bought a Dyson for her birthday, but I have an ordinary one. Have a nice week. Thank you and stay safe. God bless you❤☕☕❤🙏🙏🙏

Hi Nisha! I just ordered the volumizing crimper off your link. I hope the medium 1” is best for me. My hair is a little past my shoulders yet still medium-fine in texture. For the larger 1 1/2 inch size they suggested it for thicker hair. Hope this one is adequate in size! If not perhaps they’ll be good with making an exchange. However, i only want a little boost anyway in volume since I’m more mature. I also back comb as well so I think it should be fine 😊. Thanks so much for all the tips! Your hair. Makeup & outfits always look great! Xoxo 😘 Deb

Nisha please try redken cleansing cream in place of your clarifying shampoo. I follow a hair channel and the stylist raves about it so I finally tried it and it's amazing. You use it once a week as your 1st shampoo, then follow with your normal shampoo and conditioner. I haven't had to use purple shampoo since I started using it and can now go 3-4 days without my hair getting greasy. I also have bleached fine hair and get so much more volume now since it removes all the build up.

Not enough people talk about this enough, but whenever you have water in your hair, it makes your hair very vulnerable. So if you are brushing a ton, wrangling your hair with a rough towel, anything that stretches ans rougha your hair, you're asking for damage. Just wait as long as possible for when you dry your hair.
