Really love your storytelling :) I switched the opposite way from a product manager to a flying career, I resonate we all had that moment to change scenery along the journey!

Your speaking is very organized. I like your speaking style. In my case, after resigning, it is really hard to switch my career. I didn't know what to do. I work to make a living, but I don't enjoy my current job. Therefore, I keep searching for another job that I can do. But it's still hard to find because a cabin crew job requires specific criteria, primarily service-related skills, and I need to focus on self-development. Otherwise, I feel like I can't do anything. Currently, I'm feeling a bit depressed about my lifestyle.

hi there - thank you for sharing. I understand how painful it is to do something you don't enjoy. sounds like you are doing something to improve your situation while trying to break into the airline industry, which I think is a responsible decision. have faith in yourself, take breaks if you need to and keep going! good luck :)

You and I followed the same route, well mostly. I lived in Toronto, moved to Singapore with my family and then moved back to Canada after 17 plus years in Singapore, to a different city though, more specifically, Windsor, Ontario. I also watched your other video about the pros and cons of living Singapore. Yes, we moved back to Canada, because of what you said, Singapore is too hot and humid, the COE is a bitch (we bought two Corollas at $120,000 and $110,000), private properties are impossible to afford except for the super rich, Singapore being a boring place except for tourists, and the national service (we have two boys." But Singapore was a big part of my life; after all I spent 17 plus years of my life there. But do I miss Singapore? Not, not one bit. The main thing that drove me out is the political system. Seeing the Lees in charge for so many years made my realize democracy existed in name only in Singapore.

Hello Fabby, Thabk you for this video. It is funny because I am tending to do the exact opposite. I need your advice based on your experience please. I am a motion graphic designer and I am moving to be a flight attendant very soon. I have been thinking a lot and this career transition. I have a family and stable life. Salary is lesser in the FA job, but it is a passion I always wanted to fulfill. Any thing to say, please do. Big thanks.

thanks for watching! it’s honestly tough for me to give you specific advice just based on what you told me. it sounds like being a flight attendant is on your life bucket list; I am someone who always goes after what I want because I don’t like to live my life with regrets. even if things don’t unfold as expected, I'll learn something, and that adds to life itself. it’s not like we can never pivot back to what we used to do for a living or do something else :) of course, making responsible decisions and taking calculated risks is also important - so what I can say is, if you think the trade-off is worth it and you can still support your loved ones financially, it may be something worth trying. all the best to you, and safe travels always!

Lol! Toronto is not east coast! Speaking as an islander. Lol!😅 Really, visit the REAL east coast, you mentioned making friends, the outdoors, you're really missing out of true Canadian hospitality if you don't visit! All the best!
