Glad your run is progressing to the point it is serving you joy. It speaks to how we where made to move. As illuminated in Dr Daniel Lieberman’s Exercised: Why Something We Never Evolved to Do Is Healthy and Rewarding.

I’m always so amazed at how good your programs look! 😊 I’ve bought MOVE, the first CUT and first BUILD guides before and loved them! One thing I’m good at, is making sure I stick to anything when I start it. I’m a real perfectionist at heart, but sometimes that gets in my way as well😝 I would love to try these new CUT workouts😊 Thanks for always inspiring me with your uplifting spirit🫶🏻

Just started getting back on the exercise and work thing after a few months of depression and laying around with a broken foot. Ended up breaking my foot again. Now, stuck in the house again, trying to find the will to live once more. It is nice to see people who are having a good time.

Hey Lucy! I really appreciate the realness of the start of the video. I am in the same situation as you were my marathon prep (Rotterdam Marathon in 3 weeks) was going extremely well and then I got patellofemoral pain (runners knee). It was also an overuse injury and it has caused me to miss some big workouts in the last 2 weeks. After a lot of reflecting however I came to the conclusion that these injuries are lessons to be learnt and a circumstance that can help us grow and learn as individuals and athletes. I really wish you all the best in the coming weeks, and even if you do not achieve your goal in London, you will have plenty of years to come to achieve and smash your goals! Keep doing what you do best, and inspiring many all around the world Lucy!!!

Love your ankle rehab! I rolled my ankle a year and a half ago and it’s finally feeling so much better, but I can see a huge difference of flexibility and strength between the two. I’m definitely going to add some of those moves into my daily practice!

Lucy has her own app I don’t think she’ll collaborate with Krissy unfortunately seen as they are kinda competing in the same industry. Still a nice idea though seen as evolve you is cheaper but my coach is more like having a proper PT

Love you so much Lucy and that little bit at the end talking about how you eat was EXACTLY what the fitness community needs both you and steph are so down to earth. Your training is such an inspiration and I have recently started running and training at the gym hit my 7K PR today and will definately try those step ups for unilateral movement to help with my running. Have an amazing time off because you deserve it, didn't get chance to book to see you in manchester but wish I could will try on the next one! ❤❤❤

Not sure if this helps everyone but I started taking manganese bc it's good for tendon strength, I had multiple injuries that weren't healing until I took mangaplex from progressive labs. I swear by it and hope it helps someone out there maybe even you Lucy! Love ya!

I still don't know exactly how I did it, but I messed up my knee about 2 months ago. I could barely walk for 2 weeks and then had a limp for another week after that. I am just now, finally, able to run without pain. The point I am getting at is that injuries that impede your ability to train suck a ton and I definitely feel your pain. I hope it feels better soon!!

Was training for half marathon. Was running 15k in 1hr 10 so far. Had 3 weeks of chest infection, a week recovery followed by bad case of severe tonsillitis that lasted a week an half. Ended up taking 4 weeks off as felt very weak. Just did walks on my day off and focused on diet to get my strength back. Started running again. Now can barely run 2k 😂 Internally, I’m screaming lol.

God this is so relatable ! Two Achilles injuries back to back so that open chat on your stairs just nailed it down. Performance training and lifestyle is just a different mental clarity than any other training. Thanks for the ankle rehab movements these will defo be incorporated in my warmup and cooldowns now 🎉 wondering if you'd do a video specificity on weighted exercises to aid runners ?? 👍✌️

I’m going through the same thing right now :( training for my first half marathon in May and I was seeing amazing progress then my foot started hurting. The pain was not too bad to run through, but I was told to take some time off to keep things from getting worse. I took about 2 weeks off and ran again and it’s still bothering me honestly. I’m so sad because I was on a roll but I know everything will be okay!

Hey Lucy love the vid! ive noticed youve improved so much on your already amazing pull ups and then you also mentioned it in the vid! i was wondering if you had any tips? i can do 11 consecutively, and ive heard of progressive overload, so i do them with weights and have got to four consecutive 10kg weighted pull ups now...but ive plateaued for a few months. is there anything else i can do to increase my number of reps? i want to get to 15 by the end of the year! p.s i also run and am debilitated by achilles tendonitis constantly, hope you recover soon!

Whenever I get pain from running in my legs/ feet the first thing I do is rule out the trainers. Once the soles on your shoes start to wear they can cause so many issues in your legs and feet when you run because you start hitting the ground differently, you wont even notice it. But if you're running in shoes that have a lot of miles in them it's worth a shot trying new ones. I know some runners think it's bs for some reason, but I always swear by getting gait tested too to make sure I get the right pair for my feet.

Have you tried barefoot trainers? I always get little niggles and my friend has just switched to barefoot and said they are weird at first but now she’s got rid of all her other shoes (she is an Olympic lifter and competes etc so is a proper athlete) and I am going to give them a go. Not that your shoes are the cause of your injuries but wearing shoes designed for how our feet are meant to be (flat and wide) just wondered your opinion or if you’ve tried?!
