How I Trim My DIY Pixie Cut

I cut my shoulder-length hair into an undercut pixie myself a few months ago. Since then, I've trimmed it a few times, so I thought I'd share how I do it. DISCLAIMER: I'm not a professional stylist, so I'm NOT telling anyone to do this, I'm just demonstrating what I do. If you decide to try this yourself, the results are on you. 😉
Also, if you've been wondering where I've been... We moved!! We relocated from Oklahoma to Utah, so the last few months have been CRAZY! Our home computer still isn't fully functional, so all my video editing software is unavailable right now. I got tired of waiting, so I went ahead and uploaded this one from my phone. I hope you enjoy it anyway. 😊
Why did I cut my hair? My hair used to be waist-length, but because of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, it was getting harder and harder to wash it and do anything with it. It was too painful to lift my arms over my head and just the weight of my hair was hurting my neck. I would nearly pass out in the shower, so now with short hair my showers only take about 5 minutes and styling takes about 30 seconds most days.

My husband is the family barber and stylist, I take a seat every couple months and he trims my long hair, and my two teen boys get their haircuts every three weeks. They like it short, well groomed, but not shaved bald. So he uses the clippers with different attachments and the clippers over the comb cutting on the top and to blend the sides and back. He starts with the largest attachment up higher, then goes lower in steps, so he can blend the shorter hair with the longer hair up higher. He uses the peanut clippers to clean up the neckline and sideburns. He gave a friend of mine a short clippered haircut last month as she had gone months without a haircut as her salon was closed. She wanted it short on the back and sides and left a couple inches longer on the top. So he took the clippers and did as she asked, she made it clear that she did not want a mop top look. She wanted a polished, neatly trimmed pixie. He is not a fan of hair that short on a woman, but he did the barbering as a favor being she is my friend.

Hey is it normal? Eg when I put my thumb in front of eyes and fixate it on an object like clock, So, when I focus on thumb, background or clock becomes double and similarly when I focus on clock, thumb seems double.
