I have the same bike. I did the pedals and grips first (Rockbros metal and Ergon GA3) I did the drive drain next, Deore 11 speed 1x. I put a dropper on as well. I sold the old parts, all of them. I then put RockShox Judy on it a few months later. I need to adjust them to 120mm. Mine is "concrete" (read grey) so grey and black.

if your giant talon has the stock 3x 8s drive train, then yes 👍🏽
