Thanks for the Vid - I have one for my water buffalo waiting for me to install - way easier than I was thinking.

No problem! I was really surprised with how easy it was. There's a guy on KZbin who had a couple install videos for the GT750. If I recall there are slight differences so you may want to look them up.

3 beautiful sparks, because of the 3 high power transistors(switches) that will amplify the electricity. I wonder why they didn’t do this back in the late 60s. High power transistors, npn mosfets, resistors is all old school electronics. What we do have today are N50 Neodymium magnets. I think that the older ceramic magnets will work too. Thanks so much for showing this beautiful video.!!!

Nice job Pete! You should include a link to the ignition in your comments too. Cheers, Kirb.

Great video Pete… I’m sure some guys will find it useful if doing the same upgrade. I 100% know the feeling of finishing after midnight and having to wait until the next day to safe from upsetting the wife and neighbours. Sounds to fire up good now 👍

Thanks! It definitely is running a lot better now. I learned the hard way not to wake my entire family when they are sleeping haha

The S2 is an interesting bike

How do you mean? It's definitely unique with both years being one off models.

Good man for making a two into one wiring conection instead of hacking the wiring harness about. I do the same when I'm running proper individual earth wires to the indicator (Flasher) heads instead of relying on the crappy, penny pinching Kwack system.

Thanks! 5 years ago I probably would have done something ugly, but I am always trying to improve and learn as I keep working on these bikes.

Looks great! Does it do any automatic mechanical advance?
@PetesClassicCycle3 ай бұрын
No, You'll have to do that manually.

Ha ha, I've got a video in the pipeline about the very same mod! 👍

oh no, I'm sorry. Well I hope you're able to improve on what I did. More information out there the better!

@@PetesClassicCycleHa ha, no need to apologise. My video's been ready for a few weeks, but a few biking related events occurred since then which took priority. Best of luck with your video! 👍

How does timing advance work
@PetesClassicCycle3 ай бұрын
I imagine it's like any other. Where you can measure degree offset and simply readjust the trigger to match with that instead of the standard timing marks
