I learned using both the M32 app and Mixing station together. I got used to doing most of the setup in the M32 app and then running the show with Mixing Station. I know that sounds weird, but it has to do with who I'm learning from. One guy only likes the M32 app and another only likes Mixing Station. I almost never use my phone, but my tablet instead. One of the phone uses I see a lot is when the band members want to control their own monitor mixes. They usually don't bring tablets with them, so it's almost always on their phones. This video has be great for helping them get their screens setup in a tailored manner. Great Video! I'd love to see more like this surrounding the phone/tablet apps.

For me mixing on a 10" tablet is my preference but I always keep my phone on me as a backup. Just this week I left my tablet somewhere in the venue when the worship band went back up on stage so I had to mix the last song on my phone. It saved the day.

Hi...good videos about the possibilities with mixing station. I used the app (pro version) for the first time today. It works very well on the phone, but the screen is really too small. Because you can use the app on 4 devices with a license, I tried it on my tablet. Unfortunately, there was no way to get it to work. I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance 😊

Thanks for making this super clear and straightforward content Daniel! ---- I'm running into an issue with introducing FX like reverb / delay into monitors while being able to fully control volumes on said monitors (FX set to post fader to coincide with mains, but if our singer wants to turn her monitor channel volume down, it only affects the dry volume, not the fx volume).. is there a way around this (IDCA?)

Yes you can create an idca with the target mix set to her monitor bus And put in that idca her vocal channel and the effect return channels So now if you ride that idca fader you will be changing the level of her voice and the effect at the same time in her monitor And you obviously still can change each one independently but the idca will allow you to quickly control both at the same time without going into the sends

Is there a way to add reberb/effects on your aux mix with mixing station. I had to switch from xair app since it crashes all the time, and I've watched a few vidoes, but nothing I've seen so far explains how to do that. I hate hearing my vocals dry in my monitor! Thanks! I have the free app, and have tried unsuccessfully do get the Pro/paid version.

Everything you can do on the mixer you can do on the free app. The pro version has extra features that are related to the app itself, not the mixer. And yes of course you can do that First find your effect return channel Then chose you monitor bus Hit sends on faders And raise the fader of that effect return channel That way you're sending it to the monitor Edit: i can make a video about that if necessary

To just use the app no you don't need to be connected to a mixer you can use it offline but to have audio of course you need a mixer The app only controls your mixer there's no audio passing through the app

Yes if you have enough effect slots you can do that Let's take reverb for example You can send the vocal channel to the sends bus that has a certain reverb effect on it and the returns from that effect will go to the LR by default Then you can send that same vocal channel to another sends bus with a different reverb effect on it but nkw you will go to the returns and turn off the main stereo button so that they don't go to the LR anymore After that you send these returns to the monitor bus just like you send any other channel And now the effect in the LR is different from the effect in the monitor

This button is for fine control it makes the faders slower/more precise If it's off and you try to move the faders you will notice that they are very fast, it's difficult to move it only by a small amount So the fine button gives you more precision when moving the faders If you have a small device like a phone i would recommend to keep the fine button on always No it doesn't require the pro version You can do that on the free app

Daniel, I have a puzzling situation on my XR16 with Mixing Station. Mic in Channel 1. Level slider is down all the way but sound is still coming out of the LR mix. The level of this channel seems to be related to the levels of the buses. The channel is also being sent to Bus 1, 2, and 3. If I make one of those buses louder, the level of tgis channel gets loudet in the LR mix, again with the level slider all tge way down on the channel strip. I can't figure out what's going on.

Select the busses and if the main stereo button is turned on, turn it off to remove the busses from the main LR

I have connection problems via my iPhone running iOS version 16. After connecting correctly to my wifi router, in the add console menu, when I enter the IP address of the console I click on connect but the loading starts endlessly... I cannot recognize my console in the app menu. Do you have any idea what's wrong?

Try setting the console to DHCP and click search instead of typing in the ip

Daniel, I use a Behringer X Air. We use the cat cable to connect to a Mac to run it during service. So we don’t use Wifi. Will the app still work?

@migzmuzika2997 when you open mixing station on your phone you select X/M AIR and click search It will find your mixer Once the name of the mixer shows up on the screen click connect If you want to open the app offline do the same but instead of search hit offline then choose XR18
