the best foundation for acne prone skin is bb cream. less is more when it comes to textured skin. lightly powder on top if you are oily. Thick foundations enhance texture and clog pores

The first name for the cat that came to my mind was cloud/cloudy cuz he looks so damn fluffy, much love. Edit: do not put your concealer on your face straight out the container because your acne still has bakteria and it goes onto the concealer or desinfect the tube after every use☺️

Hey!! I was on acutane from December 2018- August 2019... I was SO beyond insecure and wore makeup to school every single day. A lot of my friends complimented how well I hid my acne and acne scars. I used and still use the Clinique Even Better Fresh Hydrating Foundation. HOLY CRAP it is hydrating for dry acutane skin and covers so well. It does oxidize a tad, but not too much. LOVE YOU girl, you are doing SO WELL through this 🦋✨

I've had consistent acne for years. Just within the last couple of weeks I started to eat overnight oats every morning (on top of the others foods I eat for my acne), using tamanu oil twice a day, and washing my face with honey followed by my cleanser. Now my skin is just a little bumpy. Thanks for being so open Summer!

i’ve had acne for almost all my life and i HIGHLY recommend BARE MINERALS liquid foundation. it doesn’t turn orange, and doesn’t dry out your skin! and i use the same concealer, and then nyx translucent pressed powder! thank me later 😘

I use the estee lauder double wear foundation to help cover my acne ! literally the only foundation that works for me and doesn't feel super cakey on my skin ! I really recommend it summer, hope it helps !

Hi summer!! I honestly wish I had found your youtube last summer when my acne got super bad and I went on accutane bc it was such a struggle. HOWEVER!!!!! I have finished my accutane course two months ago and I cannot tell you how incredible smooth and clear my skin is! Hang in there because I promise you, that treatment does wonders! yeah well so it's about summer's relationship with dylan and how that kind of evolved... it's partly what actually happened and partly scripted so it's a mixture of reality and scripted i guess. And, how I understood it, she's not on bad terms with Dylan. I'm really happy that they filmed/are filming Endless Summer as it helped me and I could relate to a lot of what was happening :)

I’ve had acne for the past 5 years ish and i got heavily into makeup to cover it up and help self confidence... I stopped wearing it every day and found a foundation that is literally meant to cover wounds, broken skin, post surgery etc... it has SPF of 41 I think.... its called Elta MD dermatologists recommend it, it wont clog or break you out cause its literally meant for wounds!

I had terrible hormonal/cystic acne for many years. I went gluten free and limited dairy and my breakouts completely stopped. It maybe isn't the answer for everyone, but it's worth a shot. & I am so happy that you are showing everyone that you can still be confident and beautiful with acne. Time to break the stigma!

As someone who has wildly sensitive and dry skin, I love neutrogena’s hydro boost foundation. It really does a good job of hydrating all day and not caking of flaking. It is more sheer in coverage, but works well on top of concealed blemishes.

You look so gorgeous with and without make-up...I struggle with acne so this helps me with confidence so much I really recommend bare minerals I’ve been using it for a years and it’s so dewy even though it’s a powder and looks super smooth and natural with buildable coverage it’s super good for covering acne and because it’s mineral based helps clear skin and doesn’t clog pores...I swear my skins better when I wear it than when I don’t, and lasts all day...it actually gets better looking through the day, that’s just my opinion but I’ll never wear anything else now it’s great xx

I also 100% recommend trying Curology. I don"t have bad acne but in the winter my skin gets super dry and that's when I have my annual big breakout and Curology has prevented that from happening this winter.

Hey summer I’m so glad you’re being open about your acne because it’s seriously not your fault and something sooo many girls struggle with. I had a similar amount of acne a year ago, and it slowly disappeared with birth control, Differin retinol products and gentle salicylic acid face washes and spot treatments. Also ya I got that foundation effect from Nude Stix (gathers on dry spots and fine lines) 🙄 good luck! You’re truly such an amazing person

To cover my acne & acne scars I use elf hydrating camo concealer on my spots, then cetaphil hyaluronic acid moisturizer mixed with maybelline urban dream cover!!! NEVER DRY and covers everything without having too much on

the colourpop tinted moisturizer is actually really nice!! i know it’s not exactly a foundation but the coverage on it is really good, it conceals the redness on my face. i use to have dry skin especially on my acne scars and it picked up the dryness for the very first few minutes and then it went away. my skin now is normal with my forehead being a little bit oily and the tinted moisturizer still works really well!

Since you really like the It Cosmetics concealer, maybe try the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer with SPF! It should still feel light but cover a good amount. I have oily skin so I haven't tried that one but I have tried their CC+ for oily skin and love it :)

okay hi summer ! i’ve been watching u since the beginning ! i’ve also struggled with acne and have been on acutane and pretty much have gotten every cream in the book. but hear me out when i say this. NEOSPORIN. it’s probably not doctor recommended like at all but it clears my skin overnight. i’m not joking. i’ve been using it for two years and i never struggle anymore. clear skin all the time. i use it whenever i start to get a pimple and it’s either gone or less inflamed and almost gone by the morning. it’s incredible. neosporin like the gelish type that’s used for cuts !!

That is the biggest lesson I had to learn growing up and having bad acne. Just wait it out and be patient because I would make myself so much worse trying to wish it away or use everything I can on my face.Recently I have gotten my acne back pretty badly but my spirit is so much better so I am able to handle it easier.😂❤️Thank you so much for making videos like this.
