Ngl I heard of some kids who wake up crazy early when I was in high school. Since the local schools start at like 7 am and end at 2 pm, you gotta spend the extra time waking yourself up for school. Obviously the problem is that most high school students don't want to have a sleep schedule that requires them to go to bed at 7 pm, so many students still were just as sleep deprived as their peers

I’m the most active and productive between like 10 PM and 1 AM, and the least active between 5-8 AM. Why would I force myself to wake up at this time, if in the end, I can be active for the exact same time as him, just at different hours of the day.

@@Niesmiesznyy please show the passage where I claimed that. My point was that there’s no general rule for either getting up early or lately. It depends on your personal biological rhythm. Exactly, it’s the same as doing work late into the night. He just wakes up early in the night to do that. Same concept though. Idk why people keep trying to push the notion that waking up so abnormally “early” is life-changing. Well, duh it’s life-changing, you’ve shifted your whole lifestyle back like 6-ish hours. Does it actually pose more benefits than the reverse of just working late into the night? We don’t actually know.

I cant focus nearly as well on my work when I'm tired, so I've learned to do my studying/work before going to UNI at 8AM since after coming home at 16 I'd be beat. There was some time I was waking up as early as 2AM and for a while used a binary sleep schedule which allowed me to have about 17 hour of focus time in a day (slept ~9pm-1am and then ~11am-1pm) . Only did this for a week or two till I was done with my exams tho. There also aren't as many distractions in the early morning. Really depends on the person though, I am most focused as soon as I wake up while some people seem to be much later.

I do normally wake up a bit later (4-4.30 am) if I don't have anything specific to work on.

i do this unintentionally because of my sleep insomnia and i agree with you, sleeping during the day made me feel like i missed out on so much- even on minor things like seeing the sun rise. If it fits your life sure why not. But just from a productive point of view most people just will have not enough sunlight in the morning to wake up, which doesn't fit your natural rhythm and it will be too bright when you go to bed. This will massively drain the productiveness and really is not beneficial for your mental and physical health.
