i like your content a lot, it resonates with what i like, you seem to be a good man. however there is a contradiction that really bothering me. there is a lot of intention to live simple minimalistic life, and yet you live in CA, work at tech, all the videos are full of new electronic devices, pens, watches and other pretty costly stuff. it does seem that at any time it is possible for you to downshift to a remote and cheap area. that makes me think that either you're not sincere with us or with yourself. i do feel your pain with the digital addiction though, keep fighting

a tip if you hate the app library (i see all of your apps are on screen time control): something i tried recently was adding as many empty screens as possible between my main screen and the app library. it's been really helpful in preventing me from swiping to my app library and getting stuck down some digital rabbithole. an added benefit is that all of the screens have my books widget and whenever i swipe to the app library, i find myself stopping and reading instead. crazy how adding a couple swipes can change your phone usage so much. give it a shot and lemme know if you like it!
