Had our kitchen extension wired yesterday Ring going all the way around doing 13 double sockets But a few of them are on spurs 24 lights in various switches plus under cabinet lighting 6mm for the cooker Plus internet Looks really good but he needed to know what we're were going to do first before starting to make holes

Depends on layout & clients. In a cupboard, socket adjacent or above worktop

@11:40 you mentioned the "old ring" is that the old circuit tgat youve made redundant or is that part of that cirucit still in use and you're terminating the end in a wago box? Not picking at anytging btw! Just genuinely curious

What height do you normally go for for accessories above the worktop, Bristol?

I try and be considerate if they plan to have tiles etc to not make it a nightmare for the tiler and set them out appropriately

@@bristolsparky yeah defo, depends on the tile or upstand. I sometimes find I struggle to get an accurate finished worktop height off the builder which is a pain.
