Not worth it yaar. I think in first year just follow as per your college syllabus (if it has cs topics in first year itself). 2nd year mein hustle maaro bas. Itna padhenge to explore kaise karenge. Vaise bhi online sem hai, koi friends vgerah zyada vaise bhi nahi hain. Aman bhai khud kehte hain ki placement ki padhai 6 months mein ho jaati hai. Top colleges se ho, bhale hee non cs/it, to fir to ye itna stress hone ka sense hee nhi hai.

I think 300-400 questions after first sem break is quite a high target rather I would suggest to solve around 100-120 questions but spend proper time in each and every question maybe 1-1.5 hrs in a single question if you not able to solve before moving to the solution. It will develop your problem solving skills

DSA Question is must to do. But doing CP is not necessary. You can improve your Problem solving skills just by doing questions on Leetcode. Please Don't do CP if you are not getting enough time. Because Due to Covid, there is less holidays we are given between semesters.

@@SteveRogers... heyyy..... exactly same case. I kinda disagree a Lil with Microsoft wali didi... 1. First sem me thoda life pe clarity pe bhi kaam karna chahiye. 2. I can't see the reason ki pehle coding and web dev sbme ekdm best banne ke baad 4th year me kyu decide karna about freelancing.....can't we try it in 2nd year. 3. AI ML wala field bhi last me kyu explore karna.....fir coding me jitna mehnat kiye 3 saal wo to thoda waste ho jayega na agr field change karne ka man kar gya to? 4. While writing this i am realising ki she is actually correct.....1st 2nd 3rd year me jb expectations and pressure low rehta hai us time actual hard kaam nibta diya jaaye and fir dhire dhire proceed karne se 2-3 internships and kaafi accha job hath me rhega and apne pass option rhega to explore diff fields in 4th year when other people would be busy in placement. Also isse life me ek security Rhega to fall back upon. 5. Earlier i was thinking of learning web dev to try freelancing first.....but now i think her way is more better.....once i learn all by 3 semesters i will be good to go for trying internship or freelancing too....cause ek major tension ni rhega ki freelance ni chala to kya hoga....cause i will have coding dsa skills to fall back upon which majority students won't have

As they say learn c++, well you can start with python or JavaScript as a beginners, dsa is possible with these language too, c++ is initially boring, you will learn to print some pattern etc you won't be able to develop something
