I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. Could probably make more money investing in yourself in your 20's. The theory in it is that If you do 150$/M in the market, sure it compounds, but 8% of 150 is only 12$ on a yearly return. Yes, that's right. You make 12$ a year. Surely you can sell something in 1 month for 12$. As far as youth goes, you're gonna be better off trying to increase your skills until you amass a wealth that is only sitting in your bank. Idle money you shouldn't spend. What I'm saying is, you should have a lot of money to invest for good returns. I don't imagine y'all wanna be 65 before you can finally use the money you've been earning.

I dislike the way you covered gambling here, but not for the reason you may think. You should really specify random-chance gambling e.g. roulette, slots etc. There are several forms of gambling that involve an element of skill where it is possible to make profits over a longer term e.g. poker and sports betting. I'm absolutely not saying this is an investment opportunity for everyone because these forms of gambling take several years to master, but it's an important distinction compared to what you said.
