I believe a debit card goes right into your bank account nowadays there are scammers that put devices on card readers So I use a credit card as an insurance policy, a buffer between scammers and my bank account. And the credit companies alert you if there’s a suspicious purchase on your card. Plus earning some points. Sounds like a good deal to me.
