I just hope people be learning their backflips. Biggest tip that made me learn the backflip was backhand springs. They'll immediately get you over the fear of inverting your body and will give you a very basic platform to learn other moves from!
@hanako_0319 Жыл бұрын
Question: What if I don't have enough strength to do a back handspring? Because I've been told by so many people to just start with that, but the thing is that I'm not really sure if I would be able to catch myself with my hands. I'm tying to get a back walkover right now and that's where I noticed again how much strength I actually lack in my arms. So, even though I know if I'm not able to do a backflip, I could just catch myself with my hands to prevent falling on my head or on my face, what holds me back is that I don't know if my arms would actually be able to support my weight or if I'd risk just breaking my arm instead of my neck.

If you have a trampoline and are scared of flipping back, then jump backwards onto your back and use that bounce to practice tucking at a lower height, worked for me and I can flip without tucking my legs in on a trampoline now.
