Great Video. Can you help me understand, 5:24 mins in video, I see that 88 & 44 move all-in 25 BB's w/ICM implications, but 66 only calls. Its good to know, but I'm not sure why? It seems to me that 88 & 44 need protection and have equity if called, but why doesn't 66 have those same qualities?

How do I quickly scroll through saved spots like it seems you did in the video? When I press up and down it only changes the avg. stack depth. In settings it says the filtering can be changed through the quickswitch tool, but i can't find this tool.

Absolutely love these videos. Some of the best content on KZbin right now. As a low stakes poker player the information is incredibly valuable and your tool is amazing, I just wish there were different pricing levels. At $89 a month, I just can't swing it. Obviously if you are playing $100 buy ins and above, it's a no brainer. But it's close to 9% of my bankroll a month and between low stakes rake and maintaining a proper bankroll, 9% is a lot. I haven't yet, and I don't know the difference between GTOWizard and Pio, but I'd be more inclined to buy it outright for $250 vs. $90 a month. If you guys could figure out some way to tier the pricing, I would be in. $20 a month for low stakes and it's done. It would obviously tier features as well, and I think that's fine because a low stakes player doesn't need 100% capability of the solver to make it well worth the investment. And as you become better and move up, you can move up the tiers of the solver and its capabilities. And I get why you are doing monthly- because it's something that needs to be updated regularly and it also helps pay for these KZbin videos- which I BEG you to never stop. Each one is fascinating and is going to help anyone who is serious about improving at this level.

Thank you for your feedback. We will consider our pricing tiers. Glad you're enjoying the content! We have a free tier that allows people to view free preflop strategies and offers limited availability to most features. We also have a Starter Tier that allows you to access many more features. You can compare the different tiers here: app.gtowizard.com/subscription/tier-overview Traditional solvers are great, but they take forever to solve anything (think 20 mins to several hours per flop). In comparison, Wizard gives you access to everything instantly and offers a vastly superior user experience. I feel like in the covering portion of video there are some other factors at play in the BB jamming frequencies also, like in the first one the LJ is opening into a 10bb stack on BTN and 2 massive stacks in the blinds which I feel like would make LJ less incentivized to open and therefore make BB less incentivized to jam into a tighter LJ opening range. Like I think BB jamming K9s makes KJo KTo ATo fold from LJ opening range but LJ might not even open those hands in that first distribution, not sure those are just my thoughts on the theory I dont have GTOW mtt so I can't look at it myself unfortunately. thanks for the content! great mental exercise

in the example with Hero BB deep stack that covers LJ, the LJ open range is the same in all the simulations? I suppose it becomes more tight when he is the short stack

I really love this channel and thanks for another video. In this one however, when BB covers, you said that the fact that the effective stacks are now 26bb doesn't affect the output of the SIM and probably that's true, but the fact the we're facing now a tighter LJ range heavily does. You can't draw precise conclusions in any study when you change two variables on the simulation. The solver stops shoving... but is it because he doesn't want to lose the dominant position or is it because it's now facing a tighter range?

They both measure ICM pressure, just using different equations. Bubble factor: gtowizard.com/glossary/bubble-factor/ Risk Premium: gtowizard.com/glossary/risk-premium/

This might be a stupid question. I watched the other video on ICM and how ICM impacts every stage of the tournament. Does that essentially make chipEV solutions worthless? Why would I study chip EV shouldn't I always be using the ICM filter instead?

A lot of your examples you mention the BB having 60 bbs and illustrating the differences. However the SIM says BB has 25 bbs, which is a symmetrical stack to the LJ. Can you confirm this isn't a mistake? It looks like multiple examples have this same mistake.

The BB all-in shows 25bb, however that's adjusted to the effective stack. Their actual stack is shown in the top-right corner of the BB.

Hey, thanks for this amaznig vid! Does this apply also during late reg? there are tournaments where there is 50%-40% left and ~40min late reg still, should we consider ICM then too? And do I understand correctly, the shorter avg stack is the less we could defend (also being short especially)?
@GTOWizard
@GTOWizard Жыл бұрын
ICM applies during late reg. Shortstacks tend to experience more ICM pressure on the bubble, and less on the final table. Generally, if there's less money behind in the shove, you call wider as your pot odds are better. But it depends on details.
