Subscribed. Really like this type of casual conversation format, HY letting iHerng just talk is very natural. Best is when HY popped a question throughout the conversation, its also the same question me as an audience had when im following the conversation. Like that HY is not pretentious, not trying to portray herself in her own podcast. Just being curious. Nice one! Hope one day i can be in your podcast and you teach me how to go about in investments. Cheers!

sean's mental strength is unbelievably strong (i'd say strong is an understatement). you hear him retelling his hardship story and he didn't even have tears in his eyes or choke his voice (or maybe that's because he told these at different occasions, practiced already haha). he's not very far from my age, and i feel like "what am i doing with my life" when compared to what he knew and what he's doing around my age. all of his experience was what i didn't get to come in touch in my life. grateful and appreciate for the podcast.

The best thing I learnt from this video is "The wonders of mistake". The only way is to grow stronger is by making mistakes like how Iherng shared his journey how he become stronger from his mistakes. I made alot of financial mistakes because school didn't teach me anything regarding those financial things. But, I admit I learnt alot from my "stupid" mistakes. Thanks iherng and doitduit for such wonderful podcasts, please collaborate more in the future.

Feedback to you HY (hopefully a constructive one): A good way to host is to let the guest's train of thought flow to kind of a completion, before segue-ing the next question to lead the conversation elsewhere. To do that you can't be too structured / rigid with what you wanna get out of this interview - have some rough guidelines, but ready buffer for the conversation to stray naturally. Good luck! Sub'd.

Really impressed by how sean is so in touch with his life and all the lessons he gain from each experience and stages in his journey from young. I believe this is mainly the result from speaking to a lot of people and sharing his life, resulting in rich self reflection and self awareness and I think it’s something everyone needs to learn from.

Sean: I every year resign, no challenge. HY: Pai kia Hahaha...typical HY. Thanks for sharing I like the part where you start at the beginning. You ask him questions about his childhood allowing us to see how Sean thinks and adapt. He really is rebellious but with a cause. Sean has been on many podcast and public appearance but so far this is where we dive deeper into his past and what shaped his thinking. As for HY, I think you nervous is it? Can sense you're rushing through the points to ask. Different vibe from your car podcast with En Qi. Don't worry about the points, can even do two episodes if necessary. No worries, with practice will get better. Thanks for doing this!

No holds barred. The vulnerabilities side of Sean Tan. RM12 million for YT channel buyout is a good sum for comfortable life in Malaysia and one is not ambitious. But if want to have RM50M, RM100M or 1B then, should continue with the YT series.

Curious. Why not just buy bonds or EPF to beat FD %. Can watches be liquidated fast if you need $?
@iherng12 күн бұрын
Yes, but I personally love putting them on my wrist mah. Technically it’s a hobby that can make money, but not a lot lah. That’s why in the end I don’t see watches as investment. So bonds or EPF is definitely better in terms of returns.

@@hmprobobhello Mr sensitive, giving constructive feedback is never “not nice” in fact, you should see it ask someone wanted you to be better, the initial commenter didn’t even insult the interviewer but just simply points out the issue and what can be improve.
