We did walk through beautiful Pushkar in Rajasthan and were struck by this official place that seemed to serve food. Guys there asked if we wanted to eat and I said yes, why not? Turns out that this is a place where the government feeds the less fortunate here in India. So we tried the food, for only 8 rupees a plate and I want to tell you how that was, so please watch the video.

Very different from the old British Rule which killed tens of millions of Indians by looting India's foodgrains for British Food Security and Profit as well as looting India's wealth (search Jason Hickel India). There were some 3 dozen manmade famines in British occupied India in just 190 years starting with the Great Bengal Famine of 1770 [which killed up to 1/3 of the population] to war criminal Churchill's 1942-3 Bengal Holocaust. They even set up Death Camps for the victims of the 1877 Madras Famine [those still able to work] who were given less starvation rations than in Buchenwald for hard labour killing 94% of inmates. In 1936 George Orwell wrote that 100 million Indians must be forced to starve so that the British can live in comfort. Earlier this year The Guardian posted a video showing the epigenetic legacy of forced starvation in all South Asian populations resulting in increased diabetes. After looting India's wealth and food, the British then claimed that India was a land of Eternal Poverty and Famine!

Yes we do like this Westerner to understand Indians and their life. Also, we knew the so-called representatives of the civilized community like the BBC, DW, 24 France etc. All are using their microscope to find out shortcomings of India. They wanted to be called "Great Britain or The USA etc.

Not sure whether any State government or Central government is funding such eateries/canteens. Government/s is providing 5 to 10 kgs of ration to around 80 crore / 800 million individuals each month.
