the added context that the globuls and little boys are how they ressurect their fallen soldiers. makes some scenes from the first episode funnier. like why the one guy got so mad when the alien shot at his crotch armor. cus that was a legitimate attempt on his life. and when he gave the globule to the alien lady to eat. it belonged to the guy who told him to turn on his radio. so he basically ordered the permanent death of the guy who was sent to deliver the message

1. I love that there is clear developement for these characters. Like how the Captain is so much nicer to everyone and is clearly trying to keep things amicable enough. We even see him trying to add a wick to the other half of the candle to please Hatemonger 2. The silent lore confirmation that the Globules are how they'll keep killing off these characters, only for them to come back next episode is nice. Especially since there are still stakes, as we see in this same episode that if the Globules are destroyed , or at least damaged beyond repair, they die for good. 3. It says a lot about how good the writting is when these characters are mostly terrible people, but we still lowkey root for them cause they're so interesting and oddly likeable lol
