Collected Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon, and Bionicle cards....Never had any idea how to actually play them. A friend taught me YGO once and beat me in 3 moves.

we definitely played with our pokemon cards when we were kids, but since we just had the cards and no rulebooks (not to mention barely speaking english, if any at all) we just made up our own rules. I was almost a legal adult when I finally learned that the energy cards did actually have a point

And this is why I swapped to the Digimon CCG. Yes there is nearly as much text about a quarter of the time. But the rest of it I can actually UNDERSTAND (Expect when John Bandai decides to slap us with a new keyword effect every couple of sets). Also for the fact that people react: "Digimon has a card game!? Since when?!" most of the time XD

The worst part of that master duel replay: The blackwing player could have had 2 omni negates with Grapha Fusion(using muddy mudragon) and Borrel Savage(raidraptor link 2 monster attached), 1 monster negate/destruction with Dis Pater, 1 Tax Dragon, and Chaos Angel.

Tera dark zard ex has been an actual meta threat for nearly a year now its not even funny how you cant power creep this card out of top16s cause hes one of the original turn 2 turn 3 turbo decks thats so consistent that you have to respect its but at least hes not the best thing you. Can be doing right now

I recently got into tcg live im not a huge fan of pocket cause its like an online version of playing teledad format or something before edison almost but with a few random playable cards from a newer set and live is almost perfectly up to date with the American release from what i understand the games not hard to understand every deck is 60 cards made up of pokemans, energys, items, supporters, and tool cards you prize 6 of your cards at the start of the game after drawing your first hand the objective is to get your 6 cards first knock off all your opponents benched pokemon so they cant play or deck them out and the rest is just learning the meta and reading cards which yugioh players cant read so its perfect theres certain differences like most decks your gunna be drawing on average like at least 4 cards per turn with the amount of draw power and search in the game i can like turn 1 draw 20 discard 13 with one of the rogue decks im playing and its not the only deck to do that alot of meta relevant monsters are worth 2 prize cards there are some worth 3 or more base line but arent really relevant theres also a handfull of cards that let you cheat out extra prizes or like atack the bench so like with hydrygon i could Theoretically take 6 prizes with 1 attack cause he hits the active pokemon +2 benched for 130 ect ect but yeah its pretty fun and not as toxic as walking into tenpai otk on masterduel and on live you cant pay to win i mean i guess you can with actual sets you can scan you irl cards into the client so you got that ig but im sitting on like 15k crafting right now and already have a few meta/rogue decks so i can just chill build resources and build meta relevant cards or fun decks as they release not a big berier to get the best stuff

Growing up is realising Yugioh was always a bit of a sh!tshow. The skill ceiling is in the upper stratosphere, but its insanely hard to get into unless you started ages ago or have someone to coach you

5:18 those are super irrelevant decks in the meta to like this is the equivalent of 2 dudes playing blue eyes vs dark magician umi control a beefed up version of a deck played in the dm anime vs blackwing synchro a deck one of the later anime protags used
