the reason why Eren is afraid for Historia's wellbeing is that he managed only to activate the founders abilities by touching a TITAN with royal blood. If they found that out they might turn her into a mindless titan and forced to stay a titan because they lack a shifter to feed to historia. (well except for Armin, who im sure Eren doesnt want to sacrifice either)

The show is called “Attack on Titan” because of an understandable mistranslation. The Japanese name can mean different things like Attack on Titan, the approaching giant, the attack titan, the advancing giant, or something similar to those. It was called Attack on Titan for translation because it sounded cool.

Attack on Titan is actually one of the correct possible translations. It was originally meant to be ambiguous which of the many possible meanings was correct until this reveal. But due to differences between Japanese and English, there was no way to keep the ambiguity. Isayama, the author himself, chose the translation Attack On Titan, so I guess he preferred the translation that didn't give away the name of Eren's titan.

fritz is the true royal family. after coming into the walls 100 years back, the royal family changed their name to reiss to avoid assassination's and they hired someone to act as king fritz. eren can use founding titan when he touches a person who is a titan and has royal blood. if he tells this to others, they may force historia to become a titan. that's why he didn't tell. "save mikasa and armin" these are the exact words grisha said to eren while injecting him in s1. kruger seeing gisha's memories. The reason kruger let everyone die is, after grisha becomes attack titan, he will not have control. remember? eren doesn't have control when he transformed in s1. he almost killed mikasa. and only 1 person with titan powers can reach walls, if other pure titans see a titan carrying humans, they come after them. so only 1 titan can reach walls and kruger chose grisha. erwin didn't choose armin. he was unconscious. he raised his hand and asked the question unconsciously. He's remembering the question he had asked his father way back as a school boy. then levi compared both erwin and armins dreams. erwin said he don't know what to do after learning the truth. while armin was talking about exploring the world. erwin's dream ends with the basement while armin's dream is beyond that. Ah, well, the reason why Season 3 was split into two parts was not b/c of the content of the first and second halves being so different. It was because there was some things going on behind the scenes that made it so that the studio currently working on this season couldn't complete the 2nd half of the season on time on a weekly release schedule, ESPECIALLY when it is as super action packed as it is, so they pushed back the 2nd half as an emergency measure. It is also because of this failure why the rest of this series is done by a different animation studio, which you're probably going to notice the difference in the animation within the very first episode.

Sure, it feels quite like a solid, satisfying ending, but there were already hints in the first episodes of first season that it was never a plan to end it here. The most important moral lessons of this story are not yet told. It hasn't really told its core message about human nature yet. The first 3 seasons barely scratch the surface (are more like a bait to let you sink into your tribalistic instincts) and it's the 4th one that gets the actual point across. If AoT ended after 3rd season it would have been remembered as "just" an action and tension masterpiece. But thanks to season 4 it will be remembered as a mind shattering philosophical piece portraying the darkness in all of us.

This second part of season 3 was probably my favourite arc of anime I ever watched, not to say the final season isn't good, because it's also great. It's just such a good payoff for everything you were wondering earlier, lots of action in the battle for Shiganshima, and a good setup for the final part.

For your question about Historia being sacrificed, Eren can't touch her to use the founding titan if she isn't a titan. That means they would have to turn her into a titan, shortening her life.

Ymir is btw the most selfless character in aot first she sided with reiner in s2 because she wanted to keep historia safe as the people inside the walls wanted to kill her then she decided that historia is okay and can actually change her fate (which she did in s3 and became a queen ) then finally she decided to go with reiner because FIRST OF ALL SHE INDIRECTLY STOLE THE TITAN AND ATE THEIR FRIEND and that basically made her turn back to human after living in titan for 60 years (which is her fault as she told lies , we see that in her backstory) so she was basically returning the titan back to them and she also knows how reiner and berthold are suffering

In erens head talk he put together he has to touch a **titan** of royal descent, not just a person of royal descent. Historia would have to be turned into a titan. And also would likely be *forced* to bear children to maintain the royal line so the founding titan can continue to be utilized by us.

You understood a surprising amount of the info dumps! Usually takes people awhile to adjust to all the new information. Few things i wasn't sure you caught onto, so i'll just mention it here. First is the technology, not sure if you cought onto it but they're more advanced in the outside world. As you could see with the airship. Where as the eldians on the island are basiclly 100 years behind, except for their titan equipment. Which Zeke/Beast titn picked up in the start of seson 2. The Ymir in that story is a different Ymir. The Ymir we know was just given the name so the eldians outside the island could worship her and treat her as if she was the founder. That's why everyone that worshiped the Ymir we know was turned into titans as punishment for opposing the government. They were likely planning a rebellion similar to Grisha and his group. In the manga we first get Ymir's backstory here where Historia reads the letter. But the anime decided to show Ymir's backstory back in season 2. So anime watchers already know Ymir's backstory, manga readers didn't before now. 15:49 If you look closely at the titans, you can recognize several of them from season 1. Like the "Santa" titan that ate Eren in episode 5. Mikasa was so depressed when they locked her out becouse she just heard Eren had 8 years and Armin had 13 years left to live. Good point about how the world are kinda justified in hating the eldians. It's not just "blind hatred", if there was a race that turned into monsters in the real world. The entire world would absolutely hate them the same way. A lot of AoT viewers seem to not understand that. And just as equally it's completely justified for the eldians to hate the rest of the world. It's quite a dilemma. Season 3 could be seen as a finale but once you start season 4, you can see just how many answers we were still missing. Season 4 is by far the best part of the story imo.
