Often described as the world’s biggest prison, most of the world only pays attention to Gaza when its firing rockets at Israel. It’s a tiny territory with no control of its own borders or airspace. Most of its residents are refugees from just across the boundary with Israel who have almost no chance of ever leaving. Outside visitors are rare. Escape - even during Israeli bombings - is impossible. Most children have never known a full day of electricity. And these conditions aren’t the result of some natural disaster - they’re deliberate policy decisions.

@Central Intelligence Agency in my humble opinion and according to the opinion of many western/non-western governments around the world the blockade is conceptually justified. Could it be improved, or be more attentive to the humanitarian needs of the residents in Gaza? that's a different question. I think personally that is Israel is doing quite a lot to address that, but it's maybe possible it can do more that's a fair criticism. But saying that the entire blockade is not justified when Hamas is aiming (and firing) 1000s of rockets at Israel is dumb.

Did you know Gaza has a 12 Km long border to Egypt? Why does not Egypt help the poor Arabs in Gaza to escape "the prison"? They have the same language, religion an culture! Do not blame Israel. Egypt is not taking responsibility for their Arab brothers in Gaza! Israel has a different Religion, Culture and Language compared to the Arabs in Gaza, but not Egypt!
