How It Feels To Play: New Super Mario Bros DS

This is the second installment in this series where I go over an entire game looking at level design, mechanics, funny/relatable moments and much more.
New Super Mario Bros DS was one of the first games I ever played so this video is very nostalgic. But going through it again almost a decade later it's a completely different experience, that I was able to show in this video.
If you've played the game hopefully you can relate to a lot of the feeling I felt whilst playing this game.

I remember 100%ing the game and accidentally erasing my save file. It was a very traumatic experience. This is my favourite new super Mario Bros game. The level designs and the creativity slowly got worst in the following games

Same thing happened to me in Mario 64 DS, and I cried. I totally agree that the games got less creative over time, but recently I’ve been playing super luigi u and it’s definitely a lot better than I expected

Wasn’t the last 2d mario game before NSMB Super Mario Land 2 6 golden coins in 1992?

Yeah but it felt less like a mainline 2d Mario adventure given that it was on the game boy
