Also, if you already have Americans, then the French are easy to implement, because in the late war they mostly used American equipment. The Modern WW2 games always start in 1943-1945 because that's when the United States kinda really stepped in. I know USA joined in 1941 December. There's literally no other countries besides the main big ones. Britain, France, USA, USSR, and German. Those things are made out of heavy steel of somekind, they are quite sturdy often with front and/or back storage areas also made out of steel, so most cases if a car hits one it's the car that gets damaged.
