"24 tone holes -- one for each of the clarinetist's fingers" ROFL!

as a clarinetist, I can confirm all of this. though the urine protocol has changed, due to the fact that clarinetists are generally disgusted by the idea of a trumpet or any person who has ever handled one. this led to many lawsuits after many innocent clarinetists were thrown into a bout of blind rage at the very sight of the keys of any of these clarinets. after the lawsuits, only the urine of squids directly from the bottom of the ocean is used to douse the keys, and it is made for certain that these squids never came in contact with anybody in the family of a brass player

Now, that wish has been fulfilled! It'd be really interesting to see how the other kinds of tubes are made, like the ones that hadn't yet discovered how drilling holes work. One can only hope!
