Would've liked to see a step-by-step explanation of what's happening, like the How It's Made series. As it currently stands, I didn't learn as much as I had hoped.

I needed a small water pump for my septic tank, so I can pump it out when it was filled up, and with no knowledge I went to hardware store and picked up mini BALDOR 250w 220v well surface pump (the one where you prime it, one end of the hose goes into the water, and trough the other end the water shoot out) and That pump is like 8inch by 8inch by 5inch and only 250w and it is sucking solid **** from the bottom of the tank, the impeller that is the size pf a mason jar lid mashes the solids and spits them out like no load at all. . . when my friend plumber came to see my setup he was looking like O_o - "You have to use at least 5 times larger pump for good perfromance" He said the pump as small as this will clog and will not suck up solids, so I demonstrated it to him and he was so amased on how that little pump is powerful. . . The openings for sucking and sending out the water are 1' holes and the whip of the hose is 1' also and it is sucking like crazy! It must be a very high quality impeller, because I don't think cheaper pump would have sucked water that is basicly a solid jello and rotten **** from the bottom of the tank with no trouble at all!
