EXACTLY, I just got the gun and was having trouble getting the shells in. I think the follower has a poor shape too. Try using a Mossberg follower with the hi rise taper, it allows the shell to self center and not get pinched between the follower and receiver. ALSO, I took the magazine tube spring out of the 24" 9+1 JMPro and put it in the stoeger. There is so much less resistance and everything seems to be working fine. I do believe that the MAIN problem is the shell catch. I was going to lighten the spring. The JMPro has a much lighter shell catch spring, but I guess reshaping the catch helped TCody! Just loaded the first shells and knew something wasn't right when trying to dual load! Seriously, like you said, requires all of my manly force to get the dang shells in. Was the improvement pretty drastic? Thanks!

When you said you clipped the spring, are you talking about the spring that engages the shell stop?

seowitz but the only spring I've cut is the shell tube spring that pushes the follower forward.

How did you remove the shell stop? Do I need to tap harder on the pin from the bottom?

Squeeze the shell catch to relieve the tension of the spring and tap the pin down from the ejection port to the loading port. Taking the the pressure off the pin is key.

FYI - On my version of the M3K, there's a clip that is recessed into the receiver that captures the pin. The pin itself is slotted for the clip. So once I figured out how to remove the clip, the pin easily tapped out with little pressure. This also prevents that side of the receiver from being opened up too much for the port mod.
