Since I’m living in Brazil When they will start to count the 3 years of duration, from the date we married or we have to submit our marriage certificate to the Italian consult then they will start count the time

If 2 US citizens have already been married for 5 years, then one of them gets Italian Citizenship by Descent... is there still a 3 year wait for the spouse to get Citizenship by Marriage? Or does the 5 years of past marriage already cover that wait?

I think those 3 years count from the moment one of the spouses gets their citizenship, not earlier.

You can apply for citizenship through marriage as soon as the spouse gets their citizenship. Keep in mind there is a language test for the married spouse.

Nope not felony if is based on marriage but if is by decedent you can get with a felony or you can get it by marriage with misdemeanor not felony
