Some notes for the video: try not to shoot so shallow depth of field, it blurs a lot of the actual subject of the video. Also, you can try shooting without moving the camera side side, a tripod might help big time for these types of videos. Hope this helps!! Also love the content!

Would love to have a pair of boots like this, but seriously how do you get your feet in and out of them??? I have a hard enough time with regular high top work boots. Do you have to completely unlace them every time you take them off? Genuinely curious if anyone in comments can tell me.
@stevecorcoran98694 ай бұрын
It is much easier than you would think. The laces do come off the hooks every time you get in and out of the boots, but stay laced through the eyelets. You just stick your foot down into the boot, push and kind of wiggle your foot and they just slide right on. Then you just snug up the laces in the eyelets and cross them over across the hooks. It doesn't take very long to get very fast at this. Not as fast as a pair of slip ons and maybe just a second or two longer to lace up and tie my 10" boots of this style than it takes me to put on a pair of running shoes with laces.

Since bison is softer more supple leather, does it break down or wear faster than cowhide? Is it just as durable??
@jkbootsusa11 ай бұрын
Just as durable if not more. They say about 40% stronger than cowhide. Our bison leather is a bit thicker too, coming in at around 9-10oz, where our cowhide is 8-9oz.

What'with Spokecane and boot making. You got White's, Nick's, and you guys. Is there a story behind that? Slav Ucrain
@stevecorcoran98694 ай бұрын
Spokane is right in the center of the Northwest part of the US, which was basically the hub of all the timber industry in America. The boot manufacturing industry in Spokane grew and remained strong due to the demand for logger's boots and the fire boots needed by the wildland fire fighters surrounding the area.

Are superduties Fire boots?
@jkbootsusa11 ай бұрын
Some Superduty's are, some aren't. For this reason we point people to our 'Fire Inlander Models' which is the same design as a Superduty but are built with NFPA materials 👍. The boots in this video don't have our fire rated stitching or a Red X sole.
@danielfuster991711 ай бұрын
@@jkbootsusa is there a reason why you can’t select bison leather when customizing inlanders? On the website it only lets you select bison leather when selecting the superduties. Thanks
@jkbootsusa10 ай бұрын
Bison is a offered as a specialty leather only showing up on certain models at the moment. We haven't brought it to our Fire Inlander as we have yet to do proper testing to fully recommend the leather in a fire setting. Hopefully this may clear up any of the confusion! It is so nice to see American craftsmen working in a pristine and safe work environment as opposed to Asian indentured servants working barefoot in a filthy and unsafe third-world Walmart factory.
@stevecorcoran98694 ай бұрын
Yes sir. Problem is most people lose their idealistic views when faced with the fact that a custom pair of bison superduty boots runs right at 800 bucks by the time you add tax and shipping, whereas the Asian-made knockoffs are under 200 bucks. People lose sight of the fact that a pair of these boots will last much longer and actually fit your feet. There is a reason White's, Nicks & JK are so backed up you have to wait 4 months before they can build a pair you order today! If you make a living spending all day on your feet in extreme environments, these boots are worth their weight in gold because they are made by American craftsmen & women who are well paid and are the best in the business.
