Showing up at Camp Pendleton for the military and their families was an epic decision. As a military veteran and long time Charger fan, it meant so much. Coach Harbaugh wearing his Salute to Service gear and allowing close interaction with the players and fans is just one of the many traits of his leadership style. Excited for the season ahead!

Left SD as a teenager, but still in the southern valley and wish to one day call it home again. Harbaugh and the Pendleton event really made it feel like the SD Chargers again. There is a distinct parallel on attention to detail where Harbaugh is taking a page from the legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden. Wooden was so detail oriented he “coached” his players on the right way to put your socks on to avoid blisters and the right way for his players to lace up their shoes.Years later NBA Hall of Fame players who were coached by Wooden still remember in a fond way how crazy it seemed to focus on doing the seemingly most insignificant things the “ right way”. Must of rubbed off because Wooden won 10 NCAA championships with the focus on the details. So glad Harbaugh and company are leading the Chargers in a new chapter. Expect great things to happen with the Chargers now!⚡️

Hey Matt, I am a veteran (USMC/USN), I've lived in San Diego for 14 years, originally from LA. Love your podcasts, you guys are my absolute favorites on KZbin. Love your play-by-play. Love your interviews and insights. I moved from LA, the Chargers moved to LA. I never understood the hate. Business is business. It's not like San Diego has a pledge of allegiance. I love my Chargers and no owner is going to take my Chargers from me. They are in LA now and for years have really stunk it up. But I think they look good this year. Ownership has finally decided to get adults in the room and we can see the changes. Keep it up brother, you are really appreciated...both of you.
