Very good report. In my experience this is very true, and I think democrats forget that many Hispanic Americans are deeply Catholic and deeply family-oriented. Yes, they largely want more liberal immigration laws, but it’s not necessarily the top issue anymore. Economic and family policy issues have become more important, and the Republican Party is much more tuned into this. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is essentially deriving all its policies from the wishes of college students. They’re really going to lose big this way, in my opinion.

Maybe we should stop distancing ourself with one another. Immigrant worker that came to US is the worker that work in the field that not many American want to. Majority is seasonal farmer right? They came and they go if the season is over. And about the bad side such as drugs cartel or people with criminal records that come? Build strong diplomacy with each other, one country can't eradicate drugs if they still have huge market in there (Mexico as the producer and US is consumer in this concept). Mexico can developed their people and make harsh regulation. US side can help their resource such as intel information who's who's, and they can build two side diplomacy with FBI and local Mexico police. I mean, I as someone who don't even know well in this particular subject, can give simple solutions. Long story short, it's not that "they can't" it's "they won't do it." It's simple as that. (Ps. Mexico is closer allies to Russia)
