This week we see more of the Black Leopards and a little footage of some Lions as well ! Kahn is amazing to spend some time, so agile, so curious and he really keeps me on my toes. A struggle to keep up at times, when he goes....he goes ! This is the last of the Meet the Character series, some of the other animals do not enjoy sharing their space, so i respect this and leave them to enjoy life as they want it, at The Sanctuary. Always a pleasure to vicariously go on a walk with the cats and learn something new. Thank you for answering the question as to why Kahn doesn't take off and not come back. I never noticed before how incredibly long his tail is! He is a beauty! A day with the Leopards wouldn't be the complete without Pilchards at the end.

I love the grace, the stealth, the “ballet” moves of the leopards. The magnificent length of tail, more than is minimally necessary, makes each leopard a ballet master and a tightrope walker at the same time. What pleasure to watch them!

It seems to me that the biggest tell-tale sign that a wild animal is happy where they live is that they voluntarily return to it. I like how you brought out that this cat will wonder around and when done, head back to the truck to go home. Obviously this is a very happy cat in the home that he lives in.

Seeing suja and bongani was a nice bonus. I love the black leopards. Khan is adorable. They both are but khan reminds of a happy house cat because he comes across as such a pet in his behaviour around Kevin.

So happy you have rehabbed so well Kevin! Loved seeing Bongani and Suja. They are holding up well. Kahn is just a very special cat! I love his personality. Standing up in the backseat wanting to know where he is going...lol...so cute. I noticed that when surveying his surroundings that he also looked up, knowing danger could come from above. I haven't seen other big cats do that. Duke is just adorable too....I like his sneak a peek ways...lol. Thank you so much for sharing these special cats with 7s! It is very clear to see the compassion you have for them and just as clear to see they too share it with you as well ....demonstrated by their complete trust in you..... Kevin not just a "Lion Whisperer" ..... A true "Wild Animal Whisperer"! I'm in complete Awe every time I watch you interacting with each of the different species at the reserve and all the different personalities they each possess and you have won each and everyone of them over.... The black leopards are so stunning. I love their beautiful faces and the tails are magnificent. It’s incredible to watch them move. They’re like lightning. Curious, how did you discover that Duke didn’t enjoy walking? It was great seeing Suja and Bongani. Hope Bongani is doing well. Do lions often kill leopards in the wild? I guess they don’t want competition for prey. I really enjoy the Meet the Character series and will miss it, but I understand the comfort of the animals comes first. Duke showed he wasn't interested in going for a walk outside the enclosure while he hid from Kevin on side of the night pen. His hiding made me laugh. 😆 🤣 😂 He surely was obvious. Kahn, on the other hand, was very enthusiastic to hop in the travel van. And he showed that he very much enjoyed his adventures exploring outside his camp. It was a very enjoyable and interesting video. Thanks Kevin!

Kevin, you encounter so much wildlife at the sanctuary, but I haven't heard you mention snakes, lizards, or crocs. What reptiles have you encountered on the property? It would be pretty cool if you did a video about the reptiles you've seen while walking the cats.

The look on Duke's face at the beginning is just priceless! 😂And Khan is just so beautiful to watch - that tail is incredible, I never really noticed how long leopard tails are. And the rosettes - just stunning. Fun fact - as a kid, I also used to love those pilchards in tomato sauce 😂I feel I have kindred spirits there! (Love the outro music, by the way - it really gives such a good vibe to the ending of a great video and a reminder of the good things in life!)

Its so interesting to see the difference between all the different types of animals. i use d to think that nearly all big cats like lions and leopards and cheetahs were really all the same but nope, they are so different and i love these walking videos too.

My black cat was glued to the screen the entire time. I think he like there are other black cats and thinks the screen is the window to the outside world - like an actual window. He doesn't want to go out, he's scared of it, but he likes to watch.
